AL DAIHA has been running well over further, missing out by less than a length over 10 furlongs here last month, and she might benefit from the drop to this trip. Bint Dandy won well over 7f two starts ago, but failed under a penalty after that and could find that the handicapper holds sway now. Shaffire went down by a head over C&D and is only 2lb higher, while Azets got off the mark at the 14th attempt and is a player despite a 3lb rise.
Prediction : 1st Al Daiha 2nd Azets 3rd Bint Dandy

DUBLIN PHARAOH followed up a promising Chelmsford debut with a close third at Newcastle, and Roger Varian's colt wouldn't have to progress much more to land these spoils. Aqrab ran a respectable race here last time and appears to be heading the right way, while Hover could come on for his fourth at Kempton, though he will certainly need to. Win Win Power, a 200,000gns purchase who is related to a number of winners, is a newcomer to keep an eye on.
Prediction : 1st Dublin Pharaoh 2nd Aqrab 3rd Win Win Power

Total Commitment ran a solid race over C&D and could go well despite creeping 1lb further up the handicap, while Harry's Bar was beaten half a length into third at Kempton and is a model of consistency. Lady Dancealot had Merhoob and Tinto behind when third in Listed company, but this is within the compass of KACHY. Tom Dascombe's grand servant won the AWC Sprint final last season and was third in the Diamond Jubilee on his latest run. Anything like that sort of form should see him defy his welter burden.
Prediction : 1st Kachy 2nd Lady Dancealot 3rd Total Commitment

The veteran Green Door showed there is plenty of life left in him when scoring here last month, but he is 2lb higher and was beaten into third at Chelmsford subsequently. Something Lucky was a short head behind Green Door over C&D and is 1lb better off, but preference is for REFLEKTOR. Tom Dascombe's gelding had been struggling off marks in the 80s but indicated that he can act off his current figure when third over a furlong further latest, and can return to winning ways.
Prediction : 1st Reflektor 2nd Green Door 3rd Something Lucky

EL GHAZWANI signed off 2019 with a C&D success and began this year in the same vein when defying a 4lb rise. He is up another 7lb, but must be stuck with whilst in such good form. Smile A Mile showed his appreciation for a small drop in class by filling the runner-up berth over Southwell's mile. This is his first attempt at 1m2f, though, so perhaps Mr Scaramanga is the bigger threat. Money for the selection's stablemate Ours Puissant would make him of interest too.
Prediction : 1st El Ghazwani 2nd Mr Scaramanga 3rd Smile A Mile

Dazzling Darren landed a classified event over 1m2f at Chelmsford and Gavin Cromwell brings him back across the Irish Sea in search of more success. He has struggled in handicaps before, though, so the vote goes to BAD ATTITUDE, who made a promising start to his handicap career at Kempton on Wednesday. This comes soon enough, but that performance was all the more meritorious considering his rider put up 2lb overweight. Sophar Sogood and Prince Percy are obvious contenders, with Zero Limits one to consider at longer odds.
Prediction : 1st Bad Attitude 2nd Dazzling Darren 3rd Sophar Sogood
