BOBBY JOE LEG gained his third career victory on his latest outing over C&D and a 3lb rise for that performance might not be enough to stop Ruth Carr's gelding striking again. The Bull has been knocking on the door here and can enter the reckoning, along with Saltie Girl, who was only two lengths behind the selection when sixth on her penultimate start.

AEGEUS got off the mark here on his fourth start 127 days ago when trained by Amanda Perrett and the four-year-old may have more to offer now in the care of Jedd O'Keeffe. A mark of 74 appears fair and the four-year-old should rate a good bit better come the end of the year looking at his pedigree. Able Jack makes some appeal on stable debut for Gerard O'Leary after some solid efforts at Dundalk so far this winter, while Amplification is also taken seriously on just his second outing for Michael Dods.

TATHMEEN returned to form when scoring over C&D last time and could take some stopping off just a 2lb higher mark. The five-year-old thrives on Tapeta at this venue, and might have too much for stablemate Mutabaahy, who has been successful in two of his last three outings. Gamesome isn't easy to win with, but he may have improved for his reappearance last month and has had a wind operation since.

Even though she has been costly to follow, it is very difficult to give up on RIDESON. The daughter of Golden Horn has let down favourite backers on each of her four appearances so far but there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with her attitude, just that she keeps bumping into useful opposition. She can reward those who keep the faith, with Manaabit possibly her biggest danger after a decent fifth at Kempton. Defence Girl is interesting on her debut.

MORROOJ was a warm order for her Kempton introduction, but had to settle for fourth. The experience won't be lost on Roger Varian's filly, though, and she will appreciate the extra furlong. Mastercraftsman filly Party Planner gives Varian an interesting second string to his bow, while Salsada did well to occupy the runner-up berth over C&D but this requires more.

I KNOW HOW returned to winning ways over C&D in December and has every chance of defying a 4lb rise and following up. C&D winner Lucky Lodge drops in grade and could improve on the level of form he showed in a 0-85 last time to fight it out with the dropped-in-trip Ghathanfar and De Bruyne Horse, who shaped with promise on his first start for David Griffiths recently, for the minor money.

GUNMAKER went down by just a head over C&D last time and is expected to be thereabouts off this 3lb higher perch. The main danger may be Strawberryandcream, who took a keen hold when second over 7f here last month and is a potential improver if granted a stronger pace to chase over this shorter trip. Dream Mount could build on his Wolverhampton fifth last time and, like stablemate Loretta, who sports first-time cheekpieces, could feasibly sneak a place.
