HIGHWAY ONE seemed to relish the drop to this trip when beaten less than a length here last time and a similar performance off 1lb higher could suffice in this. Dawn Treader went close in a seller here two starts ago but has to atone for a less impressive effort at Wolverhampton since, while Huddle was only beaten a length into fourth here on Saturday and could go well if taking her place.
Prediction : 1st Highway One 2nd Dawn Treader 3rd Huddle

Handsome York showed he stays this far when fourth over this trip at Chelmsford last time, while Bank Holiday steps up in distance after keeping up the gallop over an extended mile at Wolverhampton. Vertice ran well under today's rider on her handicap bow at Chelmsford, but one place and a neck ahead of her that day was MANAP, who could confirm that form en route to a maiden success.
Prediction : 1st Manap 2nd Vertice 3rd Bank Holiday

Captain St Lucifer made his debut over further in December, staying on as though that trip might have been on the short side. In contrast, GLITTER QUEEN ran on well despite showing signs of inexperience over 7f last time and should prove ideally suited to this distance. Wise EAgle showed up well enough on debut to be a threat, while newcomers Mesmeric and Tepui are worth a market check.
Prediction : 1st Glitter Queen 2nd Captain St Lucifer 3rd Mesmeric

It could be wise to focus on the two last-time-out winners. Royal Dynasty certainly wasn't stopping when making all to land her second straight success over 6f here, but BUGLER BOB showed a real aptitude for this trip when scoring at Newcastle last time and could build on that effort here. Both of those like to get on with things from the off, so if they start their battle too early then Critical Thinking, a never-nearer third at Wolverhampton last time, could take advantage.
Prediction : 1st Bugler Bob 2nd Royal Dynasty 3rd Critical Thinking

Kelinda Dice was only headed in the final furlong over 7f last time and could relish this shorter distance, while Quiet Word ran well despite being carried wide on the home turn over this track and trip latest. Yukon Mission has been in good form of late and was not far away at Southwell, but STREET LIFE gets the vote. Richard Fahey's gelding has run a couple of solid races in defeat over 5f at Wolverhampton and the extra yardage looks in his favour.
Prediction : 1st Street Life 2nd Quiet Word 3rd Yukon Mission
