GLORIOUS LADY has taken really well to hurdling, winning twice and finishing second three times in her first five outings, and she was far from disgraced when fourth in a Listed contest at Haydock. She handles testing conditions well and it will take a decent one to beat her. Craig Nichol has partnered on her last three starts but jumps ship to her stablemate Oscar Clouds, a half-brother to Many Clouds. Pull Green has experience on his side, though, and looks the chief threat.Prediction : 1st Glorious Lady 2nd Pull Green 3rd Oscar Clouds

The switch to fences, combined with a wind operation, has enabled POGUE to step his form up a level and he built on an encouraging second on his Catterick chasing debut by going one better at Doncaster. The form of that event was boosted when the fourth came out and won well, and Donald McCain's charge has plenty of scope for further improvement. Im Too Generous is also on an upward curve and goes particularly well here. First Account is interesting on his first start for Keith Dalgleish, and Destiny Is All can't be ruled out either.Prediction : 1st Pogue 2nd Im Too Generous 3rd First Account

Paul Nicholls sends just two horses on the long trek north and the first of them is NINEOHTWOONEOH. The six-year-old is bred to make a chaser but there are races in him in this sphere, judging by his Wincanton third on his handicap debut. Titus Bolt isn't getting any younger but has occupied the runner-up berth on his last two appearances to show that he is still a force at the right level. Starplex's good run of form came to an end at Wetherby and he is 4lb higher now so has work to do.Prediction : 1st Nineohtwooneoh 2nd Titus Bolt 3rd Starplex

DUKE OF NAVAN took a step back in the right direction when a good third at Doncaster last month and the veteran performer can take advantage of the handicapper dropping him 2lb for that effort. Pistol Park pulled up on his return to action at Wetherby after a long absence but he could bounce back along with Ardera Cross, who struggled over C&D at the start of the month but is back on his last winning mark.Prediction : 1st Duke Of Navan 2nd Pistol Park 3rd Ardera Cross

CHRISTOPHER WOOD was a promising juvenile last season, placing in a Grade 1 at Aintree behind Pentland Hills, but had struggled to be competitive in a couple of starts in the autumn. However, a wind operation, combined with a 5lb drop from the assessor, might see Paul Nicholls' gelding return to his best. Lucky Flight has won both his hurdle outings at Kelso for Lucinda Russell and is respected on his handicap bow, while the application of a visor could aid the cause of Goldencard after a disappointing effort here last month.Prediction : 1st Christopher Wood 2nd Lucky Flight 3rd Goldencard
16:35 Musselburgh
Achill Road Boy ran his best race for some time when dropped to his current mark over further here last time, only really fading close home. This slight drop in trip may suit, but the younger legs of DR HOOVES could hold sway. Lucinda Russell's seven-year-old flourished when stepped up to this trip last time, getting up close home over C&D. A 3lb rise for that looks fair, especially as he should still be improving on only his third outing over fences. Oscar Ceremony struggled terribly last time, but his previous form would give him a chance in this.Prediction : 1st Dr Hooves 2nd Achill Road Boy 3rd Oscar Ceremony

Easy As That ran out a fairly convincing winner at Ffos Las in December, but the two behind him have failed to boost the form since and he has to give weight to GRUMPY MCGRUMPFACE. Keith Dalgleish's gelding improved on his Hexham debut to fill the runner-up spot at Ayr last time and if he continues that progression then he could be tough to beat. Owner Trevor Hemmings has a couple of newcomers in Lyndale and Malpas, with the latter possibly the one to keep a close eye on.Prediction : 1st Grumpy Mcgrumpface 2nd Easy As That 3rd Malpas
