Luscifer got off the mark over C&D recently and the quick turnaround suggests he's in good nick, while Class Clown also makes some appeal.

JEM SCUTTLE looks the one to be on, as he has been knocking on the door in recent starts here and can be ridden positively dropping in distance. Wind surgery seems to have had a positive effect and the son of City Zip can get the better of Loulin, who won at Chelmsford in December and has performed well in defeat over the minimum distance here the last twice. Global Humor is another expected to go well.

ZAPPER CASS comes out on top of the official ratings here and it will be a surprise if the three-time course winner isn't seriously competitive. The seven-year-old recovered well after a slow start to finish a close third here on Friday, and this switch to 5f should suit if he leaves the stalls with greater enthusiasm. Robot Boy used to have a touch of class about him but has gone off the boil, while Karalini can claim third spot.

ASTRO JAKK hammered a decent field here a few weeks ago before disappointing at Newcastle, but the switch back to Fibresand is fancied to spark him back to life and this is a nice opening for him. The visor that worked so efficiently there remains fitted, and a mark of 85 might not prove beyond him. Moonraker was behind the selection last time but should have benefitted from a 42-day break, while North Wind needs a market check on stable debut for David Barron.

DANIEL DRAVOT stopped quickly when finishing last on his most recent C&D outing in handicap company. However, his previous start had seen him get off the mark in this grade and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back on this occasion. Sea Willow could be open to improvement as she steps up to a mile for the first time, while a pair of blinkers and a gelding operation might aid the cause of Stormy Bay on his first start since July.

Sociologist can be forgiven his latest start at the course when not running up to his best and the son of Society Rock, who is usually a consistent performer on the Fibresand, warrants plenty of respect. That said, he doesn't find winning easy, scoring just once in 15 outings on the all-weather, so the vote goes to SOCIAL CITY. The four-year-old arrives in good heart and providing he handles the surface, Tony Carroll's gelding can continue his decent run of form. Pumblechook, who was third at the track last month, and Say Nothing complete the shortlist.
