SHEISDIESEL has been running with credit over 1m4f of late and could enjoy the drop back in distance to a trip she notched a double over last winter. Thimbleweed is interesting on his first start for Noel Kelly with Oisin Orr taking the ride, while Major Reward has scored over track and trip in the past and might have been freshened up by a three-month break.

SHAWAF was only beaten half a length over C&D last month and is expected to show up well, from stall four, off this 3lb higher mark. Masalai is a model of consistency and could appreciate the return to 1m, having stayed on well into third over 7f here earlier in the month. Nordic Passage, Parkers Hill and Spiorad Saoirse all having winning C&D form in the book and are others to consider on the back of solid recent efforts.

KOKURA took a step in the right direction when passing the post in first in a 1m maiden here three weeks ago. Although later demoted by the stewards and placed second after causing interference, compensation could be on the cards tonight if keeping out of bother at the finish. Algeria make some appeal on his debut second over track and trip, and can fight it out with Three Sevens, who posted a fair effort in fourth here last month, for the silver medal.

MUNFALLET runs in 45-65 company off a mark of 66 and could prove capable of following up his 1m course win. Ross Coakley's mount might claim an uncontested lead again and, given that this performer was once rated 90, he will likely take some beating with his confidence high. Beleaguerment was successful over C&D on his most recent outing and could go well off 4lb higher, while Dance Alone is another to keep an eye on.

KINCH narrowly lost out to an in-form rival here last week and could claim an overdue success for Johnny Levins if in a similar frame of mind. The four-year-old was only raised 2lb for that three-parts of a length defeat, and he is taken too prove too hot for Conversant, who was last witnessed finishing second at Galway in October. Lady Sonia returned to form when finding just one too good over C&D last month and has a definite chance if building on that.

Sceptical took a big step forward from his debut to strike here in November and clearly has more to offer, while Aloysius Lilius was successful at Newcastle last week and makes some appeal on his home return.
