ZESHOV landed a first all-weather victory at Newcastle earlier this month and arrives 3lb well-in having escaped a penalty for that victory in an apprentice riders' handicap. He now steps up in trip and can thrive once again in the hands of Harry Russell, who has full use of his 7lb claim on this occasion. Thawry wasn't beaten far off this mark over course and distance last time and is respected, with useful pair Noble Account and Double Reflection others likely to be thereabouts.
Prediction : 1st Zeshov 2nd Thawry 3rd Double Reflection

BELL HEATHER took advantage of a falling mark when scoring over 7f here last month and just a 3lb rise for that success can see her involved once again as Pat Morris' mare steps up to a distance she has won over here in the past. Pilot Wings was a course-and-distance winner on his penultimate start and ran better than the bare result would suggest at Lingfield last time. Pike Corner Cross wasn't disgraced earlier this week and could be the pick of David Evans' pair now tried in a pair of blinkers.
Prediction : 1st Bell Heather 2nd Pilot Wings 3rd Pike Corner Cross

A weak contest can go the way of MOON TROUBLE, who at least showed some signs of encouragement when second here last month before failing to beat any rivals home at Newcastle a few weeks later. Moving back to 6f should suit Mick Appleby's charge and he can prove too strong for Smokey Lane, who should find this easier than recent assessments. Mujassam may prove good enough for third following a 114-day break.
Prediction : 1st Moon Trouble 2nd Smokey Lane 3rd Mujassam

Discovery Island has had a few chances to strike now and, despite wearing first-time cheekpieces, can probably be opposed once more at a likely short enough price. Antonine Road and Lady Sansa should improve for their respective first outings, but it might be worth taking a chance on the James Tate-trained newcomer MEDIA STORM. The Night Of Thunder colt is a half-brother to six winners and the Newmarket-based handler has an excellent record at this track.
Prediction : 1st Media Storm 2nd Discovery Island 3rd Lady Sansa

NEVER ALONE hit the line hard when justifying favouritism here recently and could strike again now that he knows his job. A gelding operation and blinkers appeared to prove the difference last time, and he can take this before moving onto better things. King Of Arms has a similar profile to the selection having made it fourth time lucky when last seen and is bred to improve with age, while Breguet Boy might just find life difficult against two smart types.
Prediction : 1st Never Alone 2nd King Of Arms 3rd Breguet Boy

I THINK SO came out on top in an amateur riders' contest over C&D last time and, with that confidence booster under her belt, she might be able to complete the double. Al Daiha has struck the crossbar on her last couple of starts and warrants plenty of respect with a hood refitted, while Al Ozzdi is certainly no forlorn hope either.
Prediction : 1st I Think So 2nd Al Daiha 3rd Al Ozzdi

Knockacurra went down by a neck in a C&D seller latest and is likely to be in the mix again, while first-time visored Stormy Bay merits consideration following his second on the Fibresand at Southwell. The vote, however, is for WATHEER, who was narrowly denied in a similar contest at Chelmsford 10 days ago and he has run well on each of his three previous visits here. Hopefully now he can claim an overdue win.
Prediction : 1st Watheer 2nd Knockacurra 3rd Stormy Bay
