Adams Park placed over 1m4f here on Thursday and has performed with credit over this distance in the past. Cool Possibility is interesting following Friday's win in a jumpers' bumper at Newcastle.

ZAPPER CASS made it three C&D wins for the year when landing a seller here last week and Mick Appleby's sprinter could strike again under a 4lb penalty. Appleby's claims are strengthened by fellow track-and-trip winner Moonraker, who can't be ruled out despite struggling on his most recent outings. Jack The Truth was on the scoresheet at Lingfield earlier this month and has to be respected off a 4lb higher rating, with recent Newcastle runner-up National Anthem also on the radar.

MAYKIR won impressively on his first course visit over 1m last week and with this longer trip unlikely to pose any problems, he gets the vote to defy a 5lb penalty. Aunt Helen ran well over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton and warrants plenty of respect heading up in distance with Andrea Atzeni aboard. Saturday's Chelmsford scorer Newgirlintown adds further spice to the race.

EQUIDAE notched a second course victory over 7f here last Thursday and with Harry Russell's claim negating the 5lb penalty, he is fancied to strike again. Straitouttacompton comfortably won a maiden handicap over C&D and he should remain competitive off this 2lb higher mark. Caesonia holds each-way claims lining up off the same rating as when third over a furlong shorter 10 days ago.
