GORGEOUS GENERAL got on the scoresheet over 6f here earlier this month and the dual course-and-distance winner could thrive back down in trip off only a 2lb higher mark. He can reverse form with Final Legacy, who had the selection held in third when winning over track and trip on the pairs' penultimate start, with the revised terms favouring Lawrence Mullaney's five-year-old. Red Invader and Arzaak are others to win over this course and distance in the past and can't be ignored.
Prediction : 1st Gorgeous General 2nd Final Legacy 3rd Red Invader

BROOKLYN BOY backed up his impressive 14-length win over 1m3f here with another comfortable victory at Lingfield last Friday and he can now complete the hat-trick under a 5lb penalty for local hander Ivan Furtado. Twpsyn also carries a 5lb penalty for his recent Kempton success and is respected in a first-time hood, while Tigray was a course-and-distance scorer on his penultimate outing and can't be ruled out either.
Prediction : 1st Brooklyn Boy 2nd Twpsyn 3rd Tigray

SPLIT DOWN SOUTH continued his fine recent run of form with a victory over this trip at Chelmsford last Thursday and Phil McEntee's four-year-old rates as the one to beat under a 5lb penalty. Smokey Lane was second when sent off joint-favourite at Wolverhampton last time and he is respected off the same rating. Kupa River wasn't beaten far when third at Newcastle recently and is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Split Down South 2nd Smokey Lane 3rd Kupa River

ASDAA got the better of Robero by a neck when landing his second win of the year over 7f at Wolverhampton earlier this month and must have a great chance once again following a fair 3lb rise. The latter was also runner-up over 6f here on his next start, and the dual course-and-distance winner should enjoy the return to this trip. Raydiance was victorious over track and trip on his penultimate outing and has to be considered, with Zylan and Mohareb also noted.
Prediction : 1st Asdaa 2nd Robero 3rd Raydiance

Queen Of All made a perfect start to her racing career when striking over 7f at Kempton in November and this well-bred filly is fancied to improve for stepping up in trip. A penalty makes life tough after a break, though, and ROYAL ASTRONOMER makes slightly greater appeal. The Telescope gelding put in a career-best effort when second at Wolverhampton on his most recent outing and the booking of Andrea Atzeni could prove the difference. Hill Hollow can take third.
Prediction : 1st Royal Astronomer 2nd Queen Of All 3rd Hill Hollow

NEVER SAID NOTHING won comfortably in selling company at Wolverhampton last time and appears to have been located another nice opening. That was his first win from 11 attempts and, with confidence high, another bold showing is anticipated. Light Lily was a 50-1 winner here recently but the race did seem to fall apart slightly, while the unexposed Brodick is also taken seriously on her handicap debut.
Prediction : 1st Never Said Nothing 2nd Light Lily 3rd Brodick
