Useful bumper performer Fair Star made a successful start to his career in this sphere when numbering stablemate Desert Dawn among his victims at Wolverhampton. He has a bright future but has to concede 7lb to TOP POWER. Andrew Balding's four-year-old has been gelded since landing minor money at Newmarket in November so is one to monitor closely in the betting. Caius Marcius boasts some solid jumps form and should be putting in his best work in the closing stages now back on the Flat.
Prediction : 1st Top Power 2nd Fair Star 3rd Desert Dawn

LEXINGTON FORCE was friendless in the betting prior to his introduction at Kempton but he created a big impression by accounting for an odds-on favourite. This trip looks ideal for him for the time being and he can see off a handful of interesting debutants, the pick of whom may be Theoule, who is a half-brother to a fair stayer in the Middle East. Netiquette and A Knight's Tale are other newcomers to note.
Prediction : 1st Lexington Force 2nd Theoule 3rd Netiquette

KLOPP gained reward for some pleasing efforts in defeat when registering his third C&D triumph last month and a 5lb hike may not be enough to prevent him from following up. Buniann was denied by the narrowest of margins on the same card and has undergone wind surgery since, so another bold bid is expected. Oriental Lilly, Gowanbuster and Kyllachy Warrior are others considered in a competitive sprint.
Prediction : 1st Klopp 2nd Buniann 3rd Oriental Lilly

Mountain Brave was allowed to dictate terms to suit herself over 7f at Wolverhampton and took full advantage to break her duck. Over this trip, however, she could lack the finishing pace of DREAM GAME, who stormed home to make it fourth-time lucky over the minimum distance here. It is disappointing that Dark Silver couldn't shed his maiden tag at Lingfield but there will be plenty who keep the faith, and Speed Merchant should be thereabouts as well.
Prediction : 1st Dream Game 2nd Mountain Brave 3rd Dark Silver

Klipperty Klopp showed good resolution to finally get off the mark over C&D and a 2lb rise doesn't seem too harsh, while Deolali is up 3lb for breaking through over 7f here. Aiden's Reward put in a career-best effort to go close over track and trip, and Hunters Step won't be far away, but WATHEER has been a model of consistency this year and can continue to pay his way.
Prediction : 1st Watheer 2nd Klipperty Klopp 3rd Deolali

Support for Motawaazy would be interesting as he cuts back in distance for his handicap debut, but THE BULL is more likely to relish the drop in trip after struggling to see his race out to full effect over 7f at this venue. Sharrabang has rediscovered some sparkle and merits respect, as does Southwell runner-up Ghost Buy. Give Lord Of The Glen some thought too.
Prediction : 1st The Bull 2nd Motawaazy 3rd Sharrabang
