The form is working out well, with the winner scoring again subsequently, and he can gain a confidence-boosting success in what isn't the strongest of handicaps. Ted Bach is the main danger on his chase debut following some decent efforts over timber, while Pottlereaghexpress can also have her say.

MINELLA DADDY performed to a high level when second behind a smart yardstick at Aintree 269 days ago and, despite some concerns over the likely ground, his class is fancied to come through. The veteran won after a break at Haydock last April and might have too much for Tambura, who sets the recent form standard after finishing second over C&D earlier in the year. Age Of Wisdom struck here when last seen but a 5lb rise might find him out.

Ruby Yeats was successful at Fontwell on her most recent outing, but she had failed to complete on four of her five starts prior to that and doesn't appeal as an obvious contender to follow up. Ding Ding loves it here but has been beaten by 36 and 30 lengths the last twice, and perhaps this can go the way of Tom Symonds' RIVER ARROW. The nine-year-old has been given every chance now dropped in class/trip, while it is also noteworthy that she wears cheekpieces for the first time.

A chance is taken on DONT BE ROBIN. He took a step back in the right direction when third over 2m4f at Wincanton and is effectively 4lb lower today, following a 1lb drop and with Rex Dingle claiming a valuable 3lb. Philip Donovan takes a handy 7lb off Mount Oliver's back and he has every chance if arriving in the same sort of form as when second at Exeter in January, while Chivers and Midnight Calamity cannot be ruled out either.

Legal Ok is 2lb lower than when runner-up over C&D in January and he should give another good account, but marginal preference is for CHAMPION CHASE. Kenny George also merits respect following his creditable fourth in a better race at Newbury.
