Glorious Caesar had been threatening to break through since entering the handicap ranks and duly did so in determined fashion at Lingfield. VISIBILITY was a couple of lengths away in third on that occasion, but he maybe has that little bit more scope for improvement after just the two starts this campaign and he can gain his revenge. Beechwood Jim Bob has shown plenty of potential in maiden/novice company and is expected to step forward again now he goes handicapping.

Pot Of Paint is a player if judged on his York debut fourth rather than his subsequent occupying of the same position in a less competitive event at this venue. It is still worth taking a chance on John Gosden's newcomer MOOHAREEBA because she is a half-sister to the yard's exciting Winter Derby hero Dubai Warrior, so should handle the surface.

Rocketeer, who didn't see a racecourse until New Year's Day, has made steady improvement and makes his handicap debut on the back of a solid Lingfield second. JUNGLE CAPERS has the edge in experience, though, making the frame in each of his handicap starts so far, and he may only have to run to that level again to break through. Gmasha made a pleasing enough return to the fray when fourth at Lingfield, and her initial mark is one her trainer should be able to work with.

New Arrival appeared to be edging ever closer towards the winner's circle, only to put in a below-par display at Lingfield. That can't have been her true running, but she is still is passed over in favour of FUCHSIA. James Fanshawe's filly finished a very encouraging fourth in a C&D event that is working out well, and the application of a hood should help her settle better. Merry Miller and Mister Snowdon, both from in-form stables, are the pick of the newcomers.
