Armed ran better than the bare result would suggest on his first start for Ian Williams at Lingfield last month and is interesting off a 1lb lower rating, while Waitaki is lurking at the foot of the handicap and has a respectable course record since joining James Given.

MISTER FREEZE stayed on well when getting his neck in front at Southwell in January and a 3lb rise appears fair enough to see him figure once again. Prince Rock disappointed when favourite most recently, but his form before that is rock solid and Luke Morris, who gets on well with the five-year-old, returns to the saddle. This looks Air Of York's optimum trip and he wasn't disgraced when fourth off this mark at Wolverhampton last week.

BURGUILLOS rattled the crossbar on his debut for Luke McJannet over a little further at Wolverhampton last time and is only 1lb higher now as he drops back in trip. The seven-year-old can go one better than that second to get the better of Recuerdame, who wasn't beaten too far when fifth over course and distance last month. Apron Strings is interesting returning from nearly a year off the track and has some smart course form in the book, while Rebecke and track-and-trip winner Little Miss Kodi also make some appeal.
