A competitive race, despite the small field, and marginal preference is for CAPLA SPIRIT, who won impressively over C&D on Tuesday and appears to have a big chance again. He gets the vote to complete the hat-trick, and can see off fellow recent course-and-distance winner Silverturnstogold, who carries a 5lb penalty for that success. Kentuckyconnection is another who has run well at this venue lately and makes some appeal at the foot of the weights.
