Rollerruler is 46lb lower than that over timber but looks the one for second, with Grumpy Boots and Nettlebush moderate to say the least.

Lucky Flight began his hurdling career with a Kelso brace and then lost nothing in defeat when chasing home a more experienced odds-on favourite in a Musselburgh handicap. He has been dropped 2lb but is still passed over in favour of CAPTAIN BLACKPEARL, who didn't stay an extended 2m4f at Leicester and will be happier here. Henri Le Bon is also interesting now he steps out of maiden/novice company, as is Folks Like Us in the first-time cheekpieces, admittedly to a lesser extent.

MY OLD GOLD wasn't at her best when fourth at Doncaster on her most recent start but her effort the time before, over the same C&D when beating Cloth Cap, is enough to convince she has a prize of this nature within her grasp. Jepeck won the final of this series at Sandown in January and may prove to be more competitive back in this division, while Rehearsal Chase winner Takingrisks is respected in his preparation for the Grand National.

JUST A PAR beat Band Of Blood by 57 lengths at Doncaster last month and the 13-year-old is very hard to oppose this afternoon based upon that evidence. Sir Jack Yeats has some good form to his name, including a sixth-placed finish in the Foxhunters' at Aintree last April, but the lack of a recent run is an obvious concern. Ultragold has not been at his best of late but the former useful performer should not be discounted.
