SIR DRAGONET was all the rage ahead of last year's Derby as he arrived unbeaten following a scintillating victory in the Chester Vase, but tasted defeat on his three subsequent outings. That said, he acquitted himself with plenty of credit at Epsom and when finishing fourth to Logician in the St Leger, when not appearing to get home, and this appeals as an ideal confidence booster for Aidan O'Brien's colt. Brogue showed a fair amount of promise when scoring on debut at Cork last May and is respected along with Numerian, who has been gelded after ending 2019 with some fine runs in top handicaps and a placed effort in a Group 3 at Dundalk.

Blissful boasts a fair amount of experience and was last seen finishing sixth to Daahyeh in the Rockel at Newmarket. The daughter of Galileo is likely to appreciate the step up to a mile but needs to prove herself on the softest conditions she has encountered to date and the vote, therefore, goes to EVEN SO. Ger Lyons'filly built on a promising debut at Tipperary to score impressively at Gowran Park on soft ground in September and is the choice of Colin Keane over stable companion Lemista. Hamariyna won a Group 3 at Leopardstown in May but faces a stiff task giving weight-for-age to the three-year-olds.
