SANDS OF TIME is out of a mare who won a Group 3 and finished runner-up in the Queen Mary as a juvenile, so she is expected to hit the ground running. Her trainer has already sent out two-year-old winners this week, but Spark Fury is a half-sister to July Stakes winner Anjaal and cost 105,000gns as a yearling so she looks a big danger. Isabella Swan appeals as a potential early type, as do the Archie Watson duo You've Charmed Me and Perfect Dream.
Prediction : 1st Sands Of Time 2nd Spark Fury 3rd Isabella Swan

Pharoah King has twice been sold for big sums of money and at least looked like he could recoup some of it when third at Chelmsford on the second of two juvenile appearances. Duck And Vanish offered encouragement at Newmarket, while Chankaya must be better than he showed at Nottingham, but a chance is taken on the newcomer SUMMER HOUSE. The daughter of Lope De Vega changed hands for 220,000gns as a yearling and is out of a half-sister to Derby runner-up Walk In The Park so is bred to stay this trip.
Prediction : 1st Summer House 2nd Pharoah King 3rd Duck And Vanish

PUNTING built on her encouraging Kempton debut to break through at Wolverhampton. The form is nothing special but a mark of 69 could still underestimate her and she is preferred to Trinity Girl, who let down favourite-backers on all three outings as a juvenile but showed potential on each occasion and has now had wind surgery. Herodotus has been gelded during his winter break so better is anticipated, with the shortlist completed by Mr Shady following his good start to 2020 on the all-weather.
Prediction : 1st Punting 2nd Trinity Girl 3rd Herodotus

EASTERN SHERIFF, who is a full-brother to the St Leger winner Harbour Law, won impressively on his debut at Kempton in November and Hugo Palmer's colt sets the standard based upon that performance. Dancing Harry and Yes My Boy are other previous winners who have to be respected, while Chichester is entitled to improve for his debut effort. Chai Yo Power is a newcomer to note having cost 150,000gns and being from the family of the top-class stayers Duncan and Samuel. Grand Deed, Prince Alex and Tao Te Ching are other debutants who merit market inspections.
Prediction : 1st Eastern Sheriff 2nd Dancing Harry 3rd Chichester

CEMHAAN has improved with every start to date and he was last seen winning a novice contest at Kempton in March. The second from that race has won subsequently and an opening mark of 83 may underestimate this son of Muhaarar. Establish is another who showed plenty of ability in novice/maiden company and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Cloud Drift and Oslo.
Prediction : 1st Cemhaan 2nd Establish 3rd Cloud Drift

ANNIE QUICKSTEP was successful over 7f here in December but her third-placed finish over the same trip the following month suggested that this extra furlong may suit the filly. Both performances indicate that her current mark is workable, especially with her jockey taking a valuable 3lb off. The unexposed Led Astray merits consideration on her handicap debut, while Sir Havelock and Berkshire Philly complete the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Annie Quickstep 2nd Led Astray 3rd Sir Havelock

Dropping back in trip could do the trick for RIVAS ROB ROY, who won readily over C&D before just failing to get home over 1m here last time. Sonnetina was in decent form last summer and can hopefully show up well on her return to action, while Rajman is a track-and-trip scorer who has won two of his last four appearances and he completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Rivas Rob Roy 2nd Sonnetina 3rd Rajman

On just his second start since being fitted with a visor (worn again), SOLAR PARK ran out an impressive winner over this trip at Wolverhampton in March and a 6lb rise might not be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood. Equally Fast was running consistently well at the beginning of 2020 and should give another good account on his reappearance, while Requinto Dawn also merits consideration following a pleasing effort at Newcastle on Monday.
Prediction : 1st Solar Park 2nd Equally Fast 3rd Requinto Dawn

STREET LIFE has impressively notched a Newcastle/Southwell double and, despite a further 7lb rise, he is fancied to complete the hat-trick. The drop back from 6f is likely to help Pretty Lady and she must enter calculations representing a stable going great guns at present, while unexposed C&D winner Ice Ice Lady adds further spice to the race for Archie Watson and Hollie Doyle.
Prediction : 1st Street Life 2nd Pretty Lady 3rd Ice Ice Lady
