It might be worth siding with Jessica Harrington's ROSES BLUE here, as the daughter of Kodiac fetched 300,000 guineas at the sales and is related to a number of speedy juveniles.

Aidan O'Brien's charges tend to improve well from their debut outings, so LIPIZZANER looks the one to beat here. The son of Uncle Mo pulled well clear of the rest when second on debut over this track and trip in March and could be primed to strike. His stablemates Baton Rouge, a full-brother to Magician, and Battleground, a first foal out of top-class mare Found, have to be respected, while Joseph O'Brien unleashes Hype, who is out of a half-sister to sprinter Kingsgate Native and cost 150,000 guineas. Alex D and Lucky Vega could be the pick of those not trained by the O'Brien family.

Poet's Pride followed up a victory over 7f at Dundalk with a solid third over this trip on the all-weather track, while Twentysixthstreet was campaigned in Scotland for most of last season and the dual Hamilton scorer may be of interest here. Lapilli struggled over 7f at Dundalk last time but this trip should suit better, though SCORCHING HEAT might be the answer here. Ado McGuinness' gelding was far too keen on his reappearance over C&D in March, but if he settles better this time, he could take advantage of what looks a lenient mark.

FIT FOR FUNCTION is 7lb higher than when successful at Dundalk in March, but he has been a model of consistency on the all-weather early this year and certainly acts on turf. Yale has to be respected after opening his account on the Dundalk Polytrack but might be better for this first outing since October, while Lequinto won well at Dundalk in March and is interesting despite a 9lb hike.

Southern Hills was an impressive winner of the Windsor Castle stakes at Royal Ascot last year but hasn't been seen since, while stablemate Pistoletto opened his account here and signed off last term with a close-up second in the Cornwallis Stakes. Nurse Barbara was far from disgraced in the Cheveley Park Stakes when last seen, but SUMMER SANDS was even more impressive when third in the Middle Park Stakes, then signed off with an emphatic victory in the Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy. Snapped up by Joseph O'Brien after being bought for 625,000 guineas from Richard Fahey, he could strike first time up for his new yard.

Sceptical has yet to run on turf in his short career, but he walloped his rivals in a Dundalk handicap in March and is the top-rated in the field after that. Sergei Prokofiev won on his reappearance at Navan last year so this may be the best time to catch him, though FOREVER IN DREAMS gets the vote. Aidan Fogarty's filly twice went close in Group 1 company at Ascot last year, in both the Commonwealth Cup and British Champions Sprint, so could prove a cut above Listed class.

TASALKA went close on a couple of occasions last term, most notably when beaten just a nose at Tipperary in August. Though she struggled on her final start of the season in Group 3 company, that shows the regard Dermot Weld holds her in and she could be the one to beat. Zahira Loredana ran a very solid race on debut at the Curragh and is respected, along with recent course second Getawiggleon and Abeona, who shaped as though this trip would suit when running on for third on debut at Dundalk.

Numen has to be of interest being by Galileo out of the high-class Divine Proportions, but it's a worry he is blinkered for this debut, while stablemate Paradiso also gets the headgear after signing off last season with a modest third at Leopardstown. Donnacha O'Brien's The Rain King and Ger Lyons' Mr Wendell are other newcomers to note, but MASTEROFFOXHOUNDS ran a couple of really encouraging races for Aidan O'Brien last season and could have the experience edge on his first outing for Jessica Harrington.
