Ocean Pearl represents a trainer who has made strong start to the season and makes appeal on breeding, being related to a spate of winners, though her stablemate MAJESTIC NOOR rates the one to beat after rattling the crossbar over 1m at Chelmsford last time. The daughter of Frankel is expected to relish this stiffer test of stamina. Sakura Petal is related to classy pair Magic Lily and Jalmoud and is also expected to show up well first time out for Charlie Appleby.
Prediction : 1st Majestic Noor 2nd Ocean Pearl 3rd Sakura Petal

SEA OF MARMOON struck on her handicap debut at Newcastle last week and is expected to mount another bold bid now turned out swiftly under a penalty. Dame Denali has been raised 2lb for her head defeat over 1m4f at Lingfield in March and might improve for this stiffer test, while Evaporust, who was fifth behind the latter when last sighted, is another for whom a step up in trip could spark improvement.
Prediction : 1st Sea Of Marmoon 2nd Dame Denali 3rd Evaporust

In a race full of newcomers the market could be the best guide here. Mark Johnston has saddled up several juvenile winners already this term so his BEVERAGE is the sporting suggestion in an open heat. Willabell is expected to show up well for John Gosden and could fight it out with Roger Varian inmate Belardie for the silver medal. Kadupul would also be interesting if the market vibes were positive.
Prediction : 1st Beverage 2nd Willabell 3rd Belardie

TOMSHALFBROTHER ran a blinder in defeat at Newcastle last Monday when racing resumed and, off the same mark, might be able to go one place better than that second now over a furlong further. He couldn't quite reel in Queen Of Kalahari over the minimum trip but is clearly in good nick and won over this distance at Chelmsford before the break. Fiery Breath gets in here off an attractive mark and must be considered, while Kaafy also makes some appeal.
Prediction : 1st Tomshalfbrother 2nd Fiery Breath 3rd Kaafy

SKY COMMANDER looked a smart prospect when he sluiced up at Kempton in December, and there could be more improvement to come now he stretches out to 1m for the first time. James Tate won the Palace House at Newmarket on Saturday, so his horses are seemingly in good nick, and he gets a confident vote while that dominant display at Kempton remains fresh in the memory. Youthful has been off the track since he was pulled up at Wolverhampton in May last year but did win at the Midlands track before that and is interesting. Others expected to go well are Magical Morning and New Chapter.
Prediction : 1st Sky Commander 2nd Youthful 3rd Magical Morning

FORSETI gets what is only a tentative vote on the basis that he was in good nick on the Fibresand at Southwell earlier in the year and remains a relatively unexposed quantity on turf. Representing the shrewd Mick Appleby yard, the four-year-old has gone well fresh in the past and should give a good account. Reine De Vitesse doesn't have many miles on the clock and is interesting on her turf debut, while Mythical Madness is another to take seriously.
Prediction : 1st Forseti 2nd Reine De Vitesse 3rd Mythical Madness

CAPLA BERRY proved disappointing on her final start of 2019, but she previously showed promise in two starts, including here on debut, and an opening handicap mark of 58 makes her interesting. Magwadiri took advantage of a slide down the weights to score at Wolverhampton when last seen but is 5lb higher now back on turf, while Molly Mai showed more at Kempton earlier in the year after a layoff and arrives here following a similar break.
Prediction : 1st Capla Berry 2nd Magwadiri 3rd Molly Mai

20:15 Yarmouth

GMASHA didn't get a clear run when fifth on handicap debut at Wolverhampton last time and could make amends for Robert Cowell. The three-year-old will probably be ridden close to the pace once more, and could take advantage of this unchanged mark. Surrajah was successful at Chelmsford just before Christmas and probably found the following event at Lingfield coming too soon when down the field, while Sepia Belle is worth mentioning wearing first-time blinkers for a trainer who does well here.
Prediction : 1st Gmasha 2nd Surrajah 3rd Sepia Belle
