Jungle Cove has to be respected given his rating of 90 but his final two starts in 2019 were disappointing. With that in mind, preference is for MAKER OF KINGS, who placed in two high quality maidens last autumn and the son of Zoffany is entitled to improve as a three-year-old. Emiyn has also displayed good form already and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, having already had a run this season.

TRUEBA returned to winning ways over this trip at Dundalk earlier in the year and a 4lb rise for that victory may not be enough to stop him from taking this contest as well. Mulzamm will be hard to keep out of the frame if reproducing his most recent all-weather form, while Silk Cravat and Gormanston are the pick of the remainder.

Go West Young Lad runs for the first time since being gelded and is a fascinating runner on handicap debut with Seamie Heffernan booked. He drops significantly in trip and is worth a market check at the very least, but TYNAMITE looks a safer bet. He has gone close the last twice on the all-weather and switches back to turf on a fair mark (6lb lower than last time). Dark Magic and Scorpion Black are other names to note.

BUCKY LARSON ran out a comfortable winner on his latest start over 1m at Dundalk in February and despite racing off a 7lb higher mark on his turf return, he looks the one to beat. These Days also struck over 1m at the County Louth track when last sighted and Ken Condon's charge, who wears a tongue-tie for the first time, warrants respect on his reappearance. Royal Highness and War Hero complete the shortlist.

FEMINISTA ran better than the bare result suggested on her sole attempt at a mile last year and Jim Bolger's Dawn Approach filly has a huge chance of recording a second victory off a mark just 4lb higher than when opening her account on her penultimate start of 2019. Point Reyes picked up a silver medal off this rating at Dundalk in March and is respected, with At War another to go very close on the Polytrack when last sighted and therefore warrants a place on the shortlist.

ABSOLUTE ONE RIGHT's most recent performances at Dundalk have been better than the bare results would suggest and the versatile performer shouldn't have a problem with the mile trip on his first turf appearance since his debut. If he handles that switch from the all-weather, he is feasibly treated and could open his account here. Ger Lyons' Jan Wellens cost 70,000gns and may be seen to better effect now handicapping, while Tommy The Hat won't be too far away if repeating his very best form.
