WINTER POWER couldn't quite land a gamble on debut at Newcastle last week, but the King Power-owned filly still showed plenty of potential to finish third, and could claim compensation here on Tapeta once more. The 90,000-euro yearling receives a 5lb fillies' allowance, and that could see her account for likely market rival Jojo Rabbit, who was second on debut at Lingfield on Monday for Archie Watson. Plum Run may finish third.

There wasn't much wrong with SHOOT TO KILL's reappearance fourth at Newcastle earlier this month and, on just his second start since being gelded, George Scott's charge has been located a suitable opening in which to strike. The three-year-old drops back into maiden company now and could put his experience to good use in a moderate race. Dream Academy has shown signs of ability in two career starts, while Dreamboat Girl might be good enough to land a share of the pot.

TEEPEE TIME was last seen finishing third over C&D in January and if the seven-year-old can repeat that performance today then he should be hard to beat off the same mark. Swell Song is not the most reliable of performers but she is more than capable of going well in a race of this nature if showing her best. Others to note are Jill Rose and Valentino Sunrise.

DILITHIUM improved from his debut performance when fifth at Redcar in October and makes considerable appeal on his handicap bow having been gelded since his last appearance. The Blue Bower placed on her last couple of starts in November and could have more to come having switched to Jonathan Portman's stable, while Quercus and Celestial Wood can fight it out for the minor honours.

MAURICE DANCER opened his account on his first attempt at this trip when last sighted and the course-and-distance winner should be thereabouts once again despite a 5lb rise. The consistent Rusalka remains feasibly treated and made the podium on her final three outings of 2019, while Lightning Blue has the benefit of a recent run under her belt and Silvestre De Sousa returns to the saddle.

FINAL ATTACK wasn't beaten far when second in a track-and-trip contest when last seen and the nine-year-old course regular could be the answer off just a 1lb higher rating. Mac Ailey was a winner on his penultimate start and had excuses when letting down favourite backers on his subsequent outing. He gives Tim Easterby a solid chance in this and is considered, with Queen Mia also noted dropping in distance.

A chance is taken on DOUBLY CLEVER on his first outing for Ben Pauling (formerly trained by Johnny Farrelly). Eight hurdle victories show that he possesses plenty of ability, and he could be well handicapped on his Flat return. Reassurance is just 2lb higher than when placed at Redcar on her penultimate outing and she merits shortlist inclusion, as does Ormesher, who runs for the first time since undergoing wind surgery.
