The son of Camacho is entitled to improve with another winter on his back and his opening mark of 77 should be workable. Dulas has a similar profile to the selection but he could be vulnerable under joint top weight. The shortlist is completed by Always Fearless, Black Caspian and Jamais Assez.

JOYFUL MISSION raced too freely to do himself justice when last seen in a competitive handicap at Goodwood in August, so he is expected to appreciate the drop back to a mile and a gelding operation. Triple Distilled was last seen winning a pair of handicaps at York in July and could have more to offer after wind surgery, while Asdaa's third at Newmarket last Thursday puts him in the mix.

An opening mark of 79 appears to be fair for the son of Oasis Dream, who has also been gelded since his last appearance. Nugget shaped well on both his outings in the autumn and has the scope to improve as a three-year-old along with Macho Boy, who finished second to an exciting type of Sir Michael Stoute's at Leicester in September.

Ralph Beckett has his string in excellent order and GRAIN OF SENSE is expected to go very close. The son of Teofilo shaped with a good deal of promise on his debut when third over a mile at Newmarket in October before disappointing back at the same venue later in the month. He has since been gelded and is an interesting proposition off a workable mark of 80 now up in trip. Zegalo got off the mark at Nottingham and represents a stable which does very well at the track, while Lingfield winner Angel On High and Favorite Moon complete the shortlist.
