MY BOY CHARLES has a wide draw in 13 and is a hopeful pick with no form on display. He cost USD280,000 as a yearling, is from the first crop of promising stallion Air Force Blue and is closely related to Grade 3 American winner Peace Achieved. Ballydoyle's runner Giorgio Vasari is similarly interesting also being by Air Force Blue and is a half-brother to Group 1 winner Sioux Nation. Giorgio Vasari won't feature on Ballydoyle's Ascot team and with improvement assured from debut, he could be best watched from stall 16. Stablemates State Of Rest (60,000gns yearling, dam is from a good family) and Magnanimous (E50,000 foal, half-brother to promising Micro Manage) are others with claims. Colin Keane is a notable booking for Abogados, homebred by the trainer and whose six siblings have won. Noble Seal is a half-brother to two American winners and is from the first crop of his stallion.Prediction : 1st Giorgio Vasari 2nd My Boy Charles 3rd State Of Rest

DARKEST is apparent second-string of the Ballydoyle pair but brings solid 2yo form to this. First-time blinkers are a concern today but her final run last year, when chasing home a better fancied and subsequent Group 3 winning stablemate reads very well. Stablemate Love Locket (regally bred, out of an Oaks winners, from family of Sea The Stars and Galileo) ran well on debut but didn't really build on that. However she could win this if showing improvement, which is entirely possible. Allez Allez Allez ran well on debut but was behind the selection at Naas. Lilandra (E35,000 foal) is a half-sister to a staying winner and is also out of an American Stakes 6f/7f winning dam and can go well on debut.Prediction : 1st Darkest 2nd Love Bracelet 3rd Allez Allez Allez

PAPA BEAR and Koolasice have solid claims on the pick of last year's form and preference is for PAPA BEAR. He disappointed on debut at Tipperary (when finishing behind Ampeson) but that was on easy ground and he showed a liking for fast ground subsequently when showing plenty ability in two subsequent maidens at this trip. Koolasice, similarly, showed plenty on his two initial efforts before himself disappointing on testing ground on his final start. He will surely appreciate the return to a sound surface here and should give the selection a race despite having a worse draw in 10. Ampeson has sound place claims and runs on fats ground for the first time while Mudawy is the first foal from an unraced dam who has some relation to Group 1 winners Most Improved and Ectot.Prediction : 1st Papa Bear 2nd Koolasice 3rd Ampeson

SLADE RUNNER would ideally prefer a furlong longer but this ordinary handicap looks well within his ability. He is winless from eight career starts but showed up well when staying on eye-catchingly at Leopardstown on Tuesday. The Cola Kid is proven at this trip in Britain and while he has yet to race on grass, should still go well today on his first start for his new trainer in Ireland. Sebs Star ran well from the front at Dundalk in November but the same tactics didn't work a the same venue in February and has a little to prove today.Prediction : 1st Slade Runner 2nd The Cola Kid 3rd Sebs Star

RUN FOR OSCAR showed plenty promise in bumpers last winter/spring and could make a winning flat debut here. He was sent to the front too soon when being beaten at Thurles in February but showed his true worth with a fine win at Leopardstown in March, with his trainer later talking up the prospects of a flat campaign on good ground. Alhaazm brings solid flat form from Britain last year and while he is no star, is rated 78 and is very much proven at this trip and on a sound surface, albeit he is vulnerable to capable types. Rayounpour is also useful and is similarly proven at this level and can get involved while newcomer Accompanied makes a belated debut but is the first runner from a high class, dual purpose performer and it is notable connections have persevered with him aged four.Prediction : 1st Run For Oscar 2nd Alhaazm 3rd Rayounpour

MISTER BLUE SKY has a national hunt weight to lug but can make a winning flat debut for Willie Mullins. Previously trained by Sylvester Kirk, he showed useful ability in middle distance handicaps on the flat in Britain and did well when sent hurdling, winning at Grade 2 level and placing at Grade 1 level. He has a poor draw in 16 today but might be the type to progress a little further on the flat. Pearl Warrior was thoroughly progressive and ground-versatile last season and while he disappointed on his latest run, has claims on best form today despite his 15 draw. Cautious Approach, under a 5lbs claimer, Moktamel (drawn 17 today) and Politicese had been running well in handicaps and have obvious claims. Melburnian was a good winner at Leopardstown in October and is respected on her return. Prediction : 1st Mister Blue Sky 2nd Pearl Warrior 3rd Cautious Approach

DE MAZZARO returns to the scene of his unfortunate defeat a year and a day ago when his rider was injured mid-race and might gain compensation and win here. He is a frustrating type to follow and while he has yet to win in 10 flat starts, at least won over hurdles at Galway in October and does look the type to eventually win a handicap at this trip from his basement rating. Walking On Glass has won once over hurdles and another race on the flat and has obvious claims, despite being beaten on his last six flat starts from similar ratings. Ingleby Mackenzie brought up a hat-trick of wins at Killarney last July and while also unsuccessful in six subsequent flat starts, his rating has dropped back down to 50 and should get involved today. Shoulda Lied was a winner on his latest start, when trained by Willie Mullins for the troubled Supreme Horse Racing Club, but was subsequently allowed sell for just E4,000 in October and is possibly best watched today. Prediction : 1st De Mazzaro 2nd Walking On Glass 3rd Ingleby Mackenzie

RAZOUL reverts to the flat here and while his previous flat form is a concern, he looks capable of winning from his 54 mark. A well bred type, he progressed well over hurdles last summer and has trip and ground in his favour on his first run of the year. Tronador was bust hurdling last winter and comes here with a rating from which he should win. He finished ninth in the Fred Winter Hurdle at Cheltenham on his latest start and is interesting on his first flat start for Gordon Elliott but is badly drawn in 18 and carries first-time cheekpieces. Sharjah has won 15 career races, continues in fine form and while he has a preference for Dundalk, did win his last race over course and distance hre in July 2018. Oromo and Ragtime Red have some place claims on best form.Prediction : 1st Razoul 2nd Tronador 3rd Sharjah
