STRONGBOWE made a promising debut at Cork last year but has obviously had training issues since and now reappears after a 13-month break. He could find no extra in the closing stages but the form of that third in a 1m2f maiden has worked out well since and Paddy Twomey's charge should not be inconvenienced by this drop back in trip. Mudlahhim is an obvious threat despite a wide draw. He's filled the runner-up spot twice in decent maidens from just three career outings, and a number from Kevin Prendergast's yard have run well in the past week. Dedillion was quite consistent in maidens last year and will not lack for experience, while Silk Air was placed a couple of times for Ken Condon last term.Prediction : 1st Mudlahhim 2nd Strongbowe 3rd Dedillon

KOSMAN had a couple of these behind when beating all bar Funny Little Ways over this trip at Dundalk last time. Ben Coen is again in the saddle and Johnny Murtagh's string appear in decent form since the return to action with a winner at the Curragh on Friday evening and number of placed runners. Briseuse De Coeur was behind the selection at Dundalk but rates a threat on overall form which includes a couple of placed efforts at Dundalk. Buachaill Or was prominent throughout also on the Polytrack at Dundalk on his latest run just before racing ceased in March, and could prove a danger dropping in trip in what appears a weak enough event.Prediction : 1st Kosman 2nd Briseuse De Coeur 3rd Buachaill Or

FLOR DE LA LUNA received a very positive report from Jessica Harrington in a recent stable tour and, with her Commonstown yard in irresistible form at present, gets the vote to make a winning debut. She's described as a beautiful big filly who has just needed time. There are plenty of other interesting newcomers in opposition and the market should prove a good guide to their relative merits. Assurance is obviously held in some regard having made her debut in the Moyglare Stud Stakes last year but hasn't progressed in three outings since. Blackcatblackkitten ran twice on testing ground last year showing some promise at Galway and has scope for improvement on this sounder surface while Tashi is another to consider.Prediction : 1st Blackcatblackitten 2nd Assurance 3rd
17:45 Roscommon
LONGCLAW cost 160,000 euros at the Breeze Up Sale in Arqana last year and, having met interference on debut at the Curragh, was heavily backed when fourth to Alpine Star in what proved a hot maiden at the Galway Festival. He was subsequently third in a Listed race at Kentucky and has rejoined Gordon Elliott with strong claims here. Crassus was mainly campaigned on soft ground last year and ran a cracker when third to Degraves in a Navan maiden. That form has been well advertised since with the winner going on to land the Group 3 Eyrefield Stakes. Classify indicated a step up in trip could suit when third at Dundalk, while there are also a list of newcomers to note in the market.Prediction : 1st Longclaw 2nd Crassus 3rd Classify

NUDGE THE JUDGE kept some good company in three outings last year including in events won by the Jessica Harrington-trained pair Cayenne Pepper and Alpine Star. She was far from disgraced on her final juvenile outing in a big field Curragh maiden, and may well have got in here on a nice mark for her handicap debut. See The Eagle Fly showed some promise on her only turf start at Down Royal last year and is another tackling handicap company for the first time. Calidus Mirabilis won twice on the all-weather over the winter and is sure to have his supporters along with Adamaris who has gone close on his latest two starts also on the all-weather and is partnered by the in-form Shane Foley.Prediction : 1st Nudge The Judge 2nd See The Eagle Fly 3rd Calidus Mirabilis
18:45 Roscommon
MOVING FORWARD won a Kempton handicap off a mark of 75 for Saeed Bin Suroor as a three-year-old and has shown promise on both outings since joining Madeleine Tylicki last autumn. The Street Cry gelding just gets into this grade while fellow top-weight Lyrical Attraction and German import Princess Zoe, the mount of promising apprentice Joey Sheridan, are others to consider. Lady De Vesci has proved a good servant to connections winning four times on the Polytrack at Dundalk with three of those victories coming over an extended ten furlongs. She only ran once on turf last season but her previous effort on grass at Naas was a decent effort.Prediction : 1st Moving Forward 2nd Lyrical Attraction 3rd Lady De Vesci
19:15 Roscommon
WAJAAHA showed promise for both Saeed Bin Suroor and Denis Hogan before joining Charles Byrnes earlier this year and took a handicap hurdle in fine style at Leopardstown. The New Approach gelding held a rating of 85 at one point and could well make a successful switch back to the Flat off what appears a workable mark. Kalanoura makes her first start for Gavin Cromwell having been bought out of Michael Halford's yard for 16,000 at Goffs last November. She has bright prospects on the pick of her form, while Grace To Grace and New Vocation are others for the shortlist. Happaugue really came to life when winning his latest two starts at Dundalk earlier this year but has gone up 23lb as a result.Prediction : 1st Wajaaha 2nd Kalanoura 3rd Happaugue
