EARLS is unexposed and could be ready to go to war off a mark of 68 in the first-time visor. Eddie Lynam's charge travelled notably well before being outgunned in fourth, in his first handicap over seven furlongs, at Dundalk in December. His three previous efforts in maidens were not devoid of promise either. Top-weight Tanseeq is a significant threat, though. John McConnell's five-year-old gelding finished a fair fourth when last seen over this trip in a better grade at Dundalk in March. He was the subject of strong market support then, and could make the most of getting into this 45-70 handicap. McConnell also runs Beleaguerment who has been in good form on the Polytrack this year. He has prospects on his return to turf. The handicapper has given Plough Boy a chance and he is not out of it.

Eleuthera won over this trip in Ayr last summer and was a decent third when racing resumed in Naas. He could bank a cheque. Lady Savannah and Descendant were first and second respectively in a mile handicap at Leopardstown and have to come into the reckoning.

He avails of Joe Sheridan's 7lb claim again and looks weighted to go close. It's worth noting, though, that his four career victories have come over six furlongs on all-weather surfaces. Ultra Pride and Spelga, who won three in a row at Dundalk in the winter, have the ability to go well. Tonkinese was a beaten favourite when last seen at Dundalk in February and catches the ye representing Joseph O'Brien and Shane Crosse.

Taramansour holds a race-fitness advantage over the aforementioned pair courtesy of his fifth place in a mile and a quarter maiden at Leopardstown this month. It wouldn't be surprising to see Camelot Rock come on from his unplaced run behind Mogul in the Curragh last summer.
