The Thomastown outfit could sample future success now with the Jessica Harrington-trained LOBO ROJO. Followers of Shane Foley are seriously in profit in recent times and there could be further profits forthcoming from supporting the Graiguenamanagh man here. On the opening day of the turf season at Naas on March 23rd, Lobo Rojo made a pleasing debut to finish runner-up to Russian Emperor. The victor has since finished second in a Group Three Derby Trial and of course tasted Royal Ascot success in the Hampton Court. He may face a livelier surface now, but that's unlikely to be any issue for the selection. Among the others that need to be kept in mind are Dalvey and Legal Reform.

Michael Halford got back among the winners with Slieve Bearnagh at Roscommon on Monday evening and he was recently quite upbeat about Airlift in a stable tour. Halford is well catered for on the jockey front, but Ronan Whelan has first call on everything and he'll take the mount on Airlift. A gelding operation and a break could well have brought on this son of Clodovil. For a selection it might be safer to look elsewhere. Galileo colt's KEATS and Kells may be the ones to focus in on. Keats failed by some way to come up to market expectations at Newmarket in November. It'll be no surprise though, if he comes on plenty for going further as a three-year-old. Seamie Heffernan is aboard for the first time. He's been carrying all before him lately.

This looks very tricky, at least until we see how the betting develops. A major market plunge on another three-year-old Michael O'Callaghan handicap debutant, Alexei Vronsky, paid sweet dividends at Roscommon on Monday evening, and SIDESHIFT may be able to follow suit. Evidence at two wasn't all that encouraging for the French-bred. However, the mile here could be right up his alley and his bottom weight impost is no negative either. In truth, going in all guns blazing is hardly advisable given the unexposed look about so many of them. Supporters of Meaningful Vote can at least point to the fact that he's managed a win, more than any of his rivals. Cheekpieces are swapped for blinkers for this assignment and the yard is going well.

WEDDING PHOTO has had just the one run for Ado McGuinness. Formerly a Godolphin and Saeed bin Suroor inmate, before doing most of her running for Peter Fahey, you'd imagine that there will be a day in the Lonhro mare somewhere over the summer. McGuinness had an evening to remember at the Curragh on Friday with Bowerman in the Lincoln. That fellow was ridden by Ronan Whelan and climbing aboard Wedding Photo for the third time (has finished third on her in the past) he could be just the man to get a winning tune out of the bottom-weight. As a last-time-out scorer Everyhouronthehour is likely the one to aim at. Many of them are returning from absences and hopefully the betting can point the way with regard to these.

LOTTIELOVEHEART may be worth a shot here in an open looking contest. Leanne Breen and Shane Foley teamed up with Parkers Hill on the first day back at Naas to win for owners Galaxy Horse Racing and this filly has dropped to a nice mark tried back in handicap company now. She is unproven at the trip but has two siblings who won over middle distances. Attack At Dawn was consistent enough at a low level at Dundalk over the winter and has to have a shout in this grade. Colin Keane is an eye-catching booking for Tony Martin's runner Day Dreamin' and market moves for this daughter of Lawman would be noteworthy.

ELFIN QUEEN took a big step forward on her return this season when an impressive winner in a Naas maiden. She really stretched away in style inside the final furlong then and going a bit further now looks like it will suit the daughter of American Pharoah. She cost $1.2million as a yearling and is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Cupid. The chestnut filly might start to repay that hefty investment this term. Lemista is already a Group 3 winner this season, having taken the Park Express Stakes, at Naas back in March. She sets the standard among the three-year-olds and is probably the one to beat on the book. Miss Myers wasn't far behind Lemista at Naas and it will be interesting to see how she fares on 3lb better terms.

INNERVISIONS might be worth a few quid each-way here on her handicap debut off a nice mark. She shaped with plenty of promise on her first two starts last season, finishing third in a Curragh maiden before being pitched into Group 3 company at Leopardstown. She disappointed subsequently, when reported to have leaned right at Tipperary and again in testing conditions at Leopardstown. Willie McCreery's charge looks capable of better and a visor here may help to bring that out of her. Feminista has just been pipped close home on her last two visits here recently and has to be respected if turning out again after Wednesday's effort. Helvic Dream looked a nice horse when winning twice at Roscommon last year but giving plenty of weight away to his rivals on his handicap debut looks a tough test.
