Punchbowl Flyer edges out Waddat and Ivatheengine to be the pick of the remainder.

STAR CACTUS displayed plenty of promise when only beaten a couple of lengths on her debut over 6f here two weeks ago and she should have no problem handling this step up in trip. If the distance is not a problem then the daughter of Uncle Mo should take plenty of beating. Sky Angel was a couple of places behind the selection on that occasion and she could get closer to her today. Wedding Dance, who is a stablemate of Sky Angel, cost 600,000gns last year and she merits a market inspection.

AL RUFAA defied greenness to score at York on his second start in October and an opening mark of 81 might just underestimate the true ability of John Gosden's colt. River Nymph is entitled to come on from his first outing of the season when third at Lingfield and appears the type who will continue to progress, while the step up in distance can aid the cause of King Ragnar based on his third at the course earlier in the month.

RIVIERA NIGHTS benefited from wind surgery when scoring at Ascot on his penultimate outing and the son of Kingman appeals as having further progression to come having switched to Roger Varian over the winter. Deep Intrigue won't lack for race fitness having run twice at the course on back-to-back days earlier in the month, while Comin' Through is of interest having dropped 3lb for his return effort at Newcastle.

SUNRAY MAJOR is bred to be a very smart performer, being a Dubawi half-brother to Kingman, and he made the perfect start to his career over C&D earlier in the month. John Gosden's colt displayed some signs of inexperience so another run in this grade appears the right move before going on to face bigger targets later in the year. Montather is the other winner in the field having scored at Chelmsford in November and he warrants a good deal of respect along with Imrahor, who placed on his sole outing at Newbury in September.

Al Maysan won a couple of modest all-weather races earlier in the year for Charlie Appleby and performed moderately when fourth on handicap debut at Newmarket a fortnight ago. The three-year-old didn't leave the impression there that he was particularly well handicapped, and perhaps MAQTAL will do better this year for Roger Varian. Disappointing on his final start of 2019 at Wolverhampton, he might not have been suited by Tapeta that day and, back on turf off an opening mark of 78, could take some stopping. Glorious Caesar is on a hat-trick and also makes some appeal.

Tom Clover has started the season in fine form and his HOLY KINGDOM left a lasting impression when successful here recently. A 6lb rise doesn't look too harsh for those exertions and this step up in distance seems sure to bring about further improvement from a horse who could end up in something like the Ebor later in the year if all goes to plan. Good Tidings wears blinkers for the first time and we might not have seen the best of him yet, while Volcanic Sky is also noted returning from a 318-day break.
