Tukhoom, having his second start following wind surgery, makes most appeal of the remainder.

ABEL HANDY has dropped to a very interesting mark and was not beaten far on his seasonal/stable debut at Chelmsford recently. With that run under his belt the five-year-old could prove a class above his rivals this evening. Bossipop is another who is on a good mark if rediscovering his best form, while Fortamour and Canford Bay are others who could make the frame.

Amjaady has been running to a consistent level and wouldn't be winning out of turn, though, for win purposes, preference is for AWAKE MY SOUL, a C&D winner who shaped with plenty of promise when fourth on his seasonal return at Newcastle, an effort on which he's entitled to build tonight following a 1lb drop in the ratings. Hats Off To Larry is worth a market check on his first start since undergoing wind surgery, while Gulf Of Poets is fairly treated and also merits shortlist inclusion.

Qaaddim is rated only 3lb higher than when landing a nursery over 1m at Lingfield in October but he needs to leave behind a moderate subsequent run on soft ground at Doncaster in order to figure. The latter comment is also applicable to Marcela De Vega.
