ENDURING displayed plenty of promise when finishing fourth to The Lir Jet on his debut at Yarmouth a couple of weeks ago and the son of Coulsty could be hard to beat with that experience now under his belt. Shine That Light has a similar profile to the selection and he should not be underestimated this afternoon. Dream Chaser is another with valid form claims, while Onaledge is arguably the pick of the newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Enduring 2nd Shine That Light 3rd Dream Chaser

BABY SHAM clearly improved significantly for her debut experience judging by her narrow defeat at Chelmsford on Wednesday and the daughter of Sir Percy is the one to beat today. Archie Watson's newcomers always merit respect and Gallardise is a full-sister to a juvenile winner for these connections last year. Alpine Springs is entitled to improve for her first outing, while Emotional Moment is from a good family and merits a market inspection.
Prediction : 1st Baby Sham 2nd Gallardise 3rd Alpine Springs

FEEL GOOD FACTOR remains a maiden but she arguably put in a career best when second over C&D last time and she should be more than capable of winning a moderate event such as this. Annie Quickstep was slightly disappointing at Lingfield recently but she is a player based upon her previous form. Others to note are Le Reveur, Fact Or Fable and Cool To Be A Cat.
Prediction : 1st Feel Good Factor 2nd Annie Quickstep 3rd Le Reveur

THE GAME OF LIFE landed a gamble in first-time cheekpieces on Wednesday and having won a touch easier than the winning margin would suggest, could follow up quickly under a 5lb penalty. In The Red was a course-and-distance winner when last seen in March and can't be ignored despite a 5lb rise, while Mrs Benson wasn't beaten by much over track and trip on the same card and makes appeal off only a 1lb higher mark this time.
Prediction : 1st The Game Of Life 2nd In The Red 3rd Mrs Benson

DESERT PEACE got off the mark at the first attempt over 7f here last autumn and despite bumping into a Ballydoyle raider when attempting to follow up under a penalty at Chelmsford, could have plenty more to come on his handicap debut. The $1,300,000 Curlin colt was an unlucky loser in that aforementioned encounter and a return to Kempton, combined with an extra furlong, should suit. Rovaniemi and track-and-trip winner Impatient are others who opened their accounts in the latter part of last term to consider, while course-and-distance scorer Note Bleu could have a big say in this sphere.
Prediction : 1st Desert Peace 2nd Note Bleu 3rd Impatient

The form of Cognac's final start of last season, when going down by a neck to Breathalyse, took a boost when Tom Dascombe's gelding went close at Newbury last weekend and Mark Johnston's runner could be on the premises here on his handicap debut. However, MON CHOIX almost made a winning switch to the handicap ranks when second at Lingfield earlier this month and can go one better for the in-form Andrew Balding team off a 3lb higher mark. Course-and-distance winner Dramatic Sands is worth a market check on his seasonal reappearance, with Elegant Erin also noted.
Prediction : 1st Mon Choix 2nd Cognac 3rd Elegant Erin

ALMIGHWAR showed very little on debut at Newmarket in October, but it was an above-average contest and perhaps the soft ground went against him on that occasion. He is out of Oaks heroine Taghrooda and should appreciate this more neutral surface, especially now stepped up markedly in distance. Chankaya took a step forward from his debut when fourth at Lingfield recently and is noted, while Coltrane and Pagaille are fancied to prove best of the newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Almighwar 2nd Chankaya 3rd Coltrane

EMIRATES KNIGHT stayed on well to finish fourth in a much better race here when last seen in November and would prove tough to stop if performing to that sort of level. Roger Varian's charge should improve with age and experience, and might have too much stamina for Edinburgh Castle, who didn't quite appear to get home when fourth over this trip at Newmarket earlier this month. Palavecino is on a hat-trick but did hang across the track in victory here nine days ago and has gone up 7lb.
Prediction : 1st Emirates Knight 2nd Edinburgh Castle 3rd Palavecino

ORIN SWIFT remains on a tempting mark after finishing second off this rating at York when last seen in October and might take some stopping under Rob Hornby. A winner first time out last season at Nottingham, this strong stayer has performed creditably on Polytrack in the past and is preferred to Vibrance, who was generally progressive over the winter but was beaten at a short price over C&D in February. Archimento was disappointing on stable debut for David Menuisier last time but this trip will suit much better.
Prediction : 1st Orin Swift 2nd Vibrance 3rd Archimento
