Bashiba is of interest on his second outing after wind surgery along with Bhangra, a C&D winner last August.

LOVE POWERFUL made a winning return when holding on by a neck at Leicester earlier this month and despite a 4lb rise making life tougher, the Gutaifan filly is backed to come out on top once again. The 360,000-euro buy has a fine course record, winning over 6f and finishing second over track and trip on her two appearances here, and that adds to a compelling case for Richard Hannon's charge here. Batchelor Boy has been in fine form on the all-weather and is dangerous if transferring that to turf, while Spanish Angel wasn't beaten too far at Goodwood and could have plenty more to offer in the handicap ranks.

FIRENZE ROSA just ran out of petrol in the dying strides when third over 6f here last week and she could pick up some compensation now dropping back to the minimum distance off a 2lb lower mark. Ghepardo was a winner at Kempton earlier this month but this is tougher following a 6lb rise, while Big Time Maybe, who made the podium on the same card, has a chance to take advantage of a lenient-looking turf rating.

CHARLIE ARTHUR won three in a row at Southwell in the winter for Richard Hughes and despite those victories coming over a mile, there is no reason to think he can't continue his progression on only his second appearance on turf, over a distance he has won at in the past. Lady Reset rattled the crossbar on his first outing for David Pipe and the booking of Oisin Murphy catches the eye, while Tell William ran well over this yardage at Newbury earlier in the month and could build on that reappearance.

Whitehaven wasn't totally devoid of promise in three starts last season for Hughie Morrison and could improve for this step up in trip wearing a visor for the first time off a low mark, while Striking Approach has shown ability in four appearances and needs a market check on just his second outing for John Ryan. Preference, though, is for PINK JAZZ, who was second on stable debut for Sean Curran at Kempton in March. This extra yardage won't hurt and the booking of Oisin Murphy is well worth noting.

ROCK OF FAME displayed some promise as a two-year-old over 6f but she is bred to be much more suited to this trip. If she does improve for the step up in distance then the daughter of Fastnet Rock could be vastly underestimated by an opening mark of 65. Mabre should be in the mix based upon her form in 2020, while Amarsanaa and Ten Thousand Stars complete the shortlist.
