Abate made a winning return to action at Thirsk and will have no issue with conditions having won his maiden on soft ground last June, while Militia must also be respected.

There was a lot to like about LOLA SHOWGIRL's first outing, when sixth in a hot Newmarket heat, and she proved that was no fluke when chasing home a useful operator at Chepstow last time. That should set her up nicely to land the victory she deserves here and she is preferred to Al Khabeer, who stepped up on his debut effort when second at Beverley earlier this month. King Fairy was outpaced over this trip on debut and may need further to be seen to best effect.

The course winner is only 2lb higher this time and gets the nod. Track-and-trip winner Vive La Difference and handicap debutant Philip's Wish are also noted.

A mark of 62 seems fair for this half-sister to the Listed winner Lord Yeats, and she can prove too strong for Roddy Ransom, who was second ahead of Brasingamanbellamy (third) at Beverley just over a fortnight ago.
