Oddschecker tips for every race at Kilbeggan on Monday.

APRILS JOY could well put her race fitness to good use. The Ask mare ran alright when ninth behind Winner Takes Itall in an extended nine furlong maiden at Gowran in the middle of the month. She's carried the colours of her breeder, Denis Reddan, up until now, but she's set to represent a syndicate here, and they could strike it lucky immediately with the point-to-point winner. Aprils Joy has never gone this far before on the racecourse proper, and one might expect the near two and a half mile trip to suit her well. The selection is from a family full of winners, and with a little luck it shouldn't be long before she makes the big breakthrough. Henry de Bromhead's pair, Abbi Shore and The Three Wizards, Champagne Diva, Doyen's Diva, Haondotri and Little Lady Lu are among the others to consider.Prediction : 1st Aprils Joy 2nd The Three Wizards 3rd Abbi Shore

There is not much between ENJOY D'ALLEN and Somptueux on official ratings, and this pair could be the two to concentrate on. Somptueux is officially assessed as being two pounds superior, but Enjoy D'Allen is marginally preferred. A couple of factors could tip the balance in favour of the Peter Fahey runner. Firstly he can show the benefit of the experience he gained when competing in handicap company last time. Secondly Enjoy D'Allen has already proven his ability to go and get the job done, after scoring in a point-to-point in February 2019. He was bought for 95K after that, Somptueux joined current connections of 70K, and they look set to gain a large portion of this 10K prize-fund.Prediction : 1st Enjoy Dallen 2nd Somptueux 3rd Siberian Star

Gavin Cromwell is three-handed here (he's got a reserve too), and it looks pretty certain that some of his team will be in there pitching at the business end. Two of them, Nomanbehind and Clonguile Way, are starting off now for Cromwell, whilst it may be that Friary Gold is the stable select with Johnny Moore aboard. It looks pretty open all told but with her high profile connections HOPEFULLY could be worth chancing. The Beat Hollow mare begins in handicap company off a workable mark. She might return a stronger type on her first outing since February. Better ground may help too. You don't often see the Simon Munir and Isaac Souede colours at this level of competition. Their Grey Girly has the potential to be dangerous off bottom-weight.Prediction : 1st Hopefully 2nd Grey Girly 3rd Friary Gold

IMPERIAL CHOICE is the one we've seen most recently and she could atone for being a beaten favourite at Limerick last week. She has the dreaded 'bf' symbol in her last three lines of form. The daughter of New Approach fell and finished second on a couple of those occasions, and she could be worth another chance. It's worrying that the five-year-old has yet to win at this game, or indeed in her Flat racing days with Michael Bell. Her latest effort was her first in 307 days and there might be some improvement forthcoming. If solid in the market the chestnut may be worth rowing in behind. Cases can be built for many of them but handicap first-timers like Cornerkova and Michael's Pick make a bit of appeal.Prediction : 1st Imperial Choice 2nd Cornerkova 3rd Michaels Pick

Many worthy of attention here but two of the first to catch the eye are ARCTIC SOFIA and Millyinthemiddle. Not every horse enjoys the turning nature of the Kilbeggan circuit and it's a big plus for Arctic Sofia that she's already managed a course and distance success. That came when she was with Gordon Elliott in May 2019. She has her second start now for Robert Widger and the Waterford handler is likely looking forward to seeing what he can achieve with the Arctic Cosmos mare. He excelled of course with Treacysenniscorthy last season, and it looks a good move on his part to have booked talented 7Ib claimer Oakley Brown for the spin on Arctic Sofia. Millyinthemiddle is a very interesting handicap first-timer. If the market is positive for her then many will justifiably take the hint.Prediction : 1st Arctic Sofia 2nd Millyinthemiddle 3rd Dawsons Cottage

The Colin Bowe horses have returned off the break with a bang. Several of the Wexford handler's string have run well, and Hello Pilgrim and Sweet Home Chicago have pleased the many followers of the Kiltealy stable with 10/1 and 18/1 successes. Bowe's VICTORIA BAY should be well up to making her presence felt here, with talented 5Ib claimer Sean O'Keeffe on her back. Rock Road is certainly going to attract a fair level of attention, beginning as he does for the Willie Mullins yard. The Definite Article gelding is definitely at the right end of the handicap to build on the poor strike rate he has to date. He's rated 109 over hurdles, and 104 at this game. Henry de Bromhead and Gavin Cromwell are both two-handed. Cromwell's Brex Drago and A Place Apart, and de Bromhead's Deans Road and Visioman, are all worth considering.Prediction : 1st Victoria Bay 2nd Rock Road 3rd Visioman

Nothing overly convincing here. A short-list of Thisonesforollie, CARRIED and Kilderry Prince is quickly assembled. Carried hasn't won since October 2017, and it looks no easy task to get the head of the Footstepsinthesand gelding home in front any more. However Denis O'Regan will climb aboard for the first time now, and no better man to kid the ten-year-old along. The former Prunella Dobbs runner could be the type to catch fresh, after running on consecutive days cross-channel back in January. Thisonesforollie is another that may have benefitted from the break, and she'll surely be there or thereabouts under Davy Russell. Darragh O'Keeffe put a Flat win on the board recently at Tipperary on Rock On Seamie. The Cork man can expect a good spin off Kilderry Prince.Prediction : 1st Carried 2nd Thisonesforollie 3rd Kilderry Prince

Tipperary man Pat Coffey owned and trained a brace of winners over at a meeting at Huntingdon in September 2014, and has had other winners as a handler too, but we're most familiar seeing his name in the ownership role. The likes of Denis Murphy has benefitted from his patronage in the point-to-point fields. It looks potentially significant to see Coffey with a horse housed with Charles Byrnes, and their GURTNAKISTEEN gets the nod on debut. The movements of the Presenting gelding in the betting should be revealing, but those that have run amongst the opposition, don't set too exacting a standard. The likes of Gurtnakisteen's fellow first-timer, Erica's Joy, is obviously a big threat to all.Prediction : 1st Gurtnakisteen 2nd Ericas Joy 3rd Western Run
