COMEATCHOO ran well for a long way over this trip at Chelmsford and, in what appears a wide-open event, he has leading claims off 3lb lower, despite being beaten by over six lengths last time. Heartstar could take a forward step for John Mackie now making her handicap debut, with that comment also applicable to Brian Ellison's representative Grandma, who ran a fair race over 6f at Newcastle in March.
Prediction : 1st Comeatchoo 2nd Grandma 3rd Heartstar

Most of these have struggled to make an impression lately. Having finished fourth over C&D last time, going down by under three lengths at the line, TILSWORTH ROSE is probably one of the more likely winners and is a tentative selection. Wiff Waff could strip fitter for his first run for his new stable at Chelmsford, while Independence Day has place possibilities now eased 2lb for finishing fifth at Wolverhampton.
Prediction : 1st Tilsworth Rose 2nd Wiff Waff 3rd Independence Day

AVENUE OF STARS refused to race at Chelmsford on his penultimate appearance, though he consented to go forward at Kempton last time and romped home by three lengths. He's clearly not straightforward but if he arrives in the right frame of mind, he has the ability needed to defy a penalty. Northern Queen is fitted with first-time cheekpieces and could battle it out with recent Chepstow second Tawaafoq for the silver medal.
Prediction : 1st Avenue Of Stars 2nd Tawaafoq 3rd Northern Queen

PURBECK HILLS was racing over middle distances, unsuccessfully, for Richard Hannon before being gelded last term, but John Gallagher made the bold move to cut him back to 7f on his first run for the stable at Goodwood recently. The sharp drop in distance almost paid off, with the four-year-old touched off by half a length, and a 2lb rise is unlikely to prevent him being competitive again now connections have established a suitable trip. Boorowa and Mont Kiara have place prospects if building on solid last-start efforts.
Prediction : 1st Purbeck Hills 2nd Boorowa 3rd Mont Kiara

JEANETTE MAY surprised a few people when scoring on her first start for almost a year at Yarmouth recently and providing she avoids the bounce factor, can follow up. William Stone's filly is unexposed over a mile and, with Marco Ghiani's 5lb claim, should be going close once more, despite being drawn high. Havana Sunset returned to form when second at Windsor and is also taken seriously alongside last week's C&D scorer Chetan.
Prediction : 1st Jeanette May 2nd Chetan 3rd Havana Sunset

A longer trip seemed to prove the catalyst for FAST TRACK FLYER here, as she put in a huge career-best performance to finish second behind an in-form rival. Brian Ellison's filly finished well clear of Blairlogie in third and, despite a 2lb rise, is fancied to shed the maiden tag. Blairlogie can help to confirm the form, while Twittering has scored here before and put in his best effort for a while when third at Kempton nine days ago.
Prediction : 1st Fast Track Flyer 2nd Blairlogie 3rd Twittering

QUEEN MIA burst back into life after the resumption of racing, getting off the mark at Wolverhampton, and proved it was no fluke by going really close at Thirsk last week. She competes here off a 2lb higher rating but is capable of further improvement. Telekinetic hasn't been seen since landing a classified event at Chelmsford in early March, but has to be considered a threat. Petit Bay's Windsor fourth on her handicap bow suggested races such as this should be within her compass.
Prediction : 1st Queen Mia 2nd Telekinetic 3rd Petit Bay

LADY ELYSIA came in for plenty of support ahead of her debut for the Eve Johnson Houghton team at Chelmsford, only to come home in fifth place. The mile and a quarter was probably too short for her and she is fancied to make the necessary improvement from that return to action. In contrast, Good Ole Winnie cuts back in trip after a solid third over an extended 1m5f at the same circuit. She heads a list of dangers that also includes Dolphin Village and Becky Sharp.
Prediction : 1st Lady Elysia 2nd Good Ole Winnie 3rd Dolphin Village

As expected, PLEASURE GARDEN left last year's ordinary maiden/novice form a long way behind when upped in trip for his handicap debut, finishing a staying-on third at Windsor. The extra couple of furlongs here should be right up his street and he is fancied to make the breakthrough. Pearl Beach also showed much more on her return to action, making the frame at Chelmsford. A couple of the handicap newcomers make plenty of appeal too, namely Scarlet Ruby and Lion's Vigil.
Prediction : 1st Pleasure Garden 2nd Pearl Beach 3rd Scarlet Ruby
