PERFECT SIGN made a pleasing debut over course and distance behind a filly who will have strong claims in the Group 3 that follows this opener. The Charm Spirit filly was slowly away and got a bump in the closing stages behind Sussex Garden, but kept on well and receives a nice bit of weight from her main rivals. Street Kid was quite green throughout his debut when just touched off at Navan and should be very competitive again, while Tar Heel ran into some trouble in running behind Swiss Ace at Tipperary. With two outings under his belt, he should be more streetwise this time. Rebel Step is a newcomer to note, being a half-brother to the same connections' Group 2-placed Rebel Tale who's rated over 100.

Three last time out maiden winners take on the Albany Stakes third Mother Earth. After a good debut second to subsequent Listed winner Frenetic, the Ballydoyle filly had a luckless passage at the Royal meeting but for which she'd have finished closer to the impressive winner Dandalla. SUSSEX GARDEN was short of room herself on debut here before picking up well to score by a neck. The third home, Finest, didn't advertise the form at Bellewstown but nonetheless the Harrington filly may come forward enough to score. Connections of Luminesce feel she'll be better over further while Inner Beauty has more on her plate after winning her maiden at Limerick.

Grand old warrior DOONARD PRINCE has been performing consistently since racing resumed, and can confirm form with Teddy Boy from their placed efforts behind Son And Sannie here last week. Ross O'Sullivan's veteran was strong at the finish that day over 5f and will appreciate the extra furlong of this contest at a track where he's won three times. Bay Of Skaill made a bold bid from the front at Limerick on Monday, but he's at his best around a bend rather than on a straight track. Johnny Levins' three winners over the last month have all come at this venue, and Eleuthera is a contender running off his last winning mark and having finished second over 7f last time at Fairyhouse.

WILD CHERRY may not stand out as an obvious selection, but she ran well in two maidens at this course last season and might improve enough from a recent run at the Curragh to fight out the finish here. She's taking a drop in classs and likes to race prominently, so the inside draw should be an advantage if she gets a good break. Darkest finished ahead of the selection in a maiden here last October and should enjoy going back up to 7f, while Kokura was 'first past the post' (disqualified on the first occasion) in two maidens at Dundalk early in the year and should improve for his first run back at Leopardstown. Funny Little Ways will need to start more sharply after being slowly into stride when a running-on second at Limerick.

A half-brother to 2018 Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Skitter Skatter, MOORE STREET WISE ran well over 7f on debut at Roscommon. Up in trip to a mile and with a visor fitted, Paddy Twomey's colt can go two places better. Blue Shadow came from well back to be fourth in that maiden won by Frank Arthur, and he's not one to readily rule out, while Kassaba is another obvious contender after catching the eye on her only start last term. A staying-on fourth at Leopardstown, she's flattered by her proximity to the runner-up and subsequent Irish Derby winner Santiago but is a filly who's likely to win races this year. Ivan The Great did little wrong when placed in a course and distance maiden last month and is also respected.

It's been six and seven furlongs so far for BARANIYA and she gets the nod now for her handicap debut going over a mile. The daughter of Iffraaj has hardly been given anything easy by the assessor with her 87 rating but Andrew Slattery is up with his very valuable five pound claim. One had to be impressed with the way Baraniya knuckled down to get the job done at Roscommon, and surely it will only be in her favour stepping up in trip, and with a stiff finish like at Naas. Jessica Harrington has a pair of contenders, Between Hills and Ocean Monarch, and both need considering. Toronto and Lough Cutra are among the others to catch the eye. Meaningful Vote is a little out of the handicap. He can't be left out of calculations though.

Perhaps SILENCE PLEASE will be able to shoulder her three pound Listed race penalty and remain unbeaten. The Gleneagles filly 'nosed out' stable companion One Voice in the Salsabil Stakes at Navan, and it's very encouraging to note that the runner-up went on to secure Group Three honours in Leopardstown. Silence Please may well encounter slower ground than she's done to date. Hopefully that won't prove to be any impediment. Even So, fifth in the 1,000 Guineas behind Peaceful, is the one to aim at with her 103-rating. 10 furlongs is an interesting experiment with her. Getawiggleon has a lot on her plate. It would be folly to put a line through any of the rest though.

Bred by the John and Clare Tuthill's Owenstown Bloodstock in County Kildare, ART POWER returns to home soil to step into Group company. Sold as a yearling for 110,000 Euros at the Goffs Ireland Orby Sale in October 2018, the grey has gone from strength to strength in recent times. Colin Keane is in for quite the spin on the Dark Angel colt, judging by the way he demolished his rivals in the new Palace Of Holyroodhouse Handicap at Royal Ascot. A strong favourite on that occasion, the three-year-old could hardly have been any more impressive. He's won over six, at the stiff Newcastle, so the distance here shouldn't be any problem. Millisle acquitted herself well at the Berkshire extravaganza too, and she looks the big danger.
