VEDUTE took a step in the right direction when runner up over 6f at Haydock two weeks ago and is expected to build on that performance and strike at the third time of asking now cutting back to the minimum trip. Swooper is improving between runs and could benefit from the fitting of first-time cheekpieces, while Identified and Burning Cash are two others going the right way who also merit inclusion on the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Vedute 2nd Identified 3rd Swooper

COWBOY SOLDIER needs to step up on his last two runs in order to figure but he's been given some help by the handicapper and is now rated 1lb lower than when winning over this trip on the all-weather at Kempton in April last year. C&D winner Secret Potion is a model of consistency and could feasibly play a supporting role, while Lihou is entitled to build on his reappearance spin and could also take closer order.
Prediction : 1st Cowboy Soldier 2nd Secret Potion 3rd Lihou

Off the mark on debut at Newbury, MOTTRIB ran well under a penalty at Leicester last summer, even though he returned a beaten favourite. Roger Varian's colt sets the standard and is preferred to Brunel's Boy and Beauty Choice, both of whom have place possibilities if running to their official ratings. The pick of the remainder may be Tuscan Oasis, who should be all the wiser for the experience gained at Bath two weeks ago.
Prediction : 1st Mottrib 2nd Brunels Boy 3rd Beauty Choice

BLAIRLOGIE has made the podium the last twice, including off this mark at Leicester last time, and Mick Channon's charge makes plenty of appeal. Le Reveur disappointed over a mile when sent off favourite recently, but is respected back down in trip in a first-time visor. Clog Na Fola was third over track and trip last week and is another to consider off the same mark.
Prediction : 1st Blairlogie 2nd Le Reveur 3rd Clog Na Fola

SIR RODERIC got on the scoresheet at Goodwood last time and Rod Millman's admirable seven-year-old could follow up off a 3lb higher mark at a venue he has a great record at. Barrington was only beaten a nose when sent off favourite at Kempton last week and is sure to be thereabouts off the same rating up at 7f. Madame Tantzy made a pleasing reappearance when third in a competitive Newbury contest last month and is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Sir Roderic 2nd Barrington 3rd Madame Tantzy

AVORISK ET PERILS was a winner over 1m2f on the all-weather last month and a 3lb rise might not be enough to stop Gary Moore's five-year-old following up here dropping back to a mile. Andaleep has made the podium on both outings since the restart and has to be taken seriously, while Ragstone View shaped nicely over 7f at this track on his final outing of 2019 and could figure if fully wound up.
Prediction : 1st Avorisk Et Perils 2nd Andaleep 3rd Ragstone View

20:00 Chepstow

TRONADA wasn't without market support when scoring on the all-weather at Lingfield last month and could go in again for Alan King. The four-year-old has only been raised 3lb for that performance, and appeals more than recent Pontefract scorer Embrace The Moment. She took 11 attempts to get off the mark and isn't sure to be suited by this extra couple of furlongs. Champagne Terri was third at Doncaster just over a week ago and may prove best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Tronada 2nd Embrace The Moment 3rd Champagne Terri

CAMOUFLAGED stayed on well when fourth at Kempton last month and, now returning to turf, is fancied to make the most of his stamina and strike under David Probert. The three-year-old remains on a fair mark of 65, and is preferred to Bruisa, who has displayed potential in four starts for Richard Hannon, and Caribeno, who is markedly upped in trip ahead of this handicap debut. Yarmouth second Evaporust is another who cannot be fully discounted.
Prediction : 1st Camouflaged 2nd Bruisa 3rd Caribeno
