End Zone makes plenty of appeal having been gelded over the winter, while others worthy of consideration include Hartswood, last seen finishing sixth in the Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar, and Benefit Street.

Mordred has been in top form since the restart and looks likely to be thereabouts, while the consistent Cape Cavalli did well when dead-heating for second on his return at Newcastle. Ritchie Valens made a winning debut for Tom Clover at Chelmsford and is another to consider off a 4lb higher mark.

SARDINIA SUNSET sets a fair form standard having finished fourth in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot last month and could shed her maiden tag for Roger Varian now dropped in class. She has a lot of this field held on that form, though Different Face was second behind the eventual Windsor Castle runner-up at Yarmouth before beating Bungledupinblue at Lingfield and should at least confirm that form. Blackberry knew her job on debut at Hamilton and is also noted.

John Gosden has won this race five times in the last nine years and RICETTA, a daughter of Camelot who won going away in novice company over 1m at Newmarket last month, is expected to go very close. She is well fancied given she's also bred to stay this longer trip. Pocket Square is more exposed than the selection but sets a decent standard on her juvenile Group 3 victory at Deauville, while chances are also given to Dubai Love and Rose Of Kildare.

He very much sets the standard here and could prove hard to beat. For Peat's Sake is likely to build on his Yarmouth debut representing a top trainer/jockey combination. Cedric Morris appeals most of the newcomers on show, with Richard Fahey's pair, Gumdrop and Credible, and Kevin Ryan's Zaman Jameel all worthy of respect.
