ROBIN DES SIVOLA can make a winning reappearance in an ordinary maiden. A 48,000-pounds purchase following her point-to-point win, she showed useful hurdles form in 2019 and while well held in her only start this year (in March), that was a far stronger race than this and she has trip and ground in her favour today. 112-rated My Midnight was bold at Bellewstown six days ago when patently downing tools in the closing stages of a race which she should have won (wandered, hung, swished tail). She has finished second on six of her last eight starts and while she has plenty ability, she might do well to skip past the selection today. 97-rated Little Lady Lou has shown a reasonable level of ability in similar races to this in the past and, importantly, has good recent form at this venue to her name. She is ideally suited by trip and today's likely sound surface but is clearly vulnerable to more talented runners. More Info was useful in bumpers and while well beaten on hurdles debut at Roscommon, this is a drop in grade and she could go better today with that reappearance run behind her. Lady Rocco has shown some bits of form in two bumper runs but makes her hurdles debut today.

KHANMURJAN has his first start since November but brings solid form into today's race and can win. He was useful on the flat and showed up very well on both hurdle starts last year. He was well beaten by a smart winner at Down Royal on his latest start but notably finished in-front of subsequent Fred Winter-third Saint D'Oroux. He can provide his late father Scat Daddy with a first winner over jumps here. Dakota Beat is a dual bumper winner who ran a sound race over hurdles at Roscommon last month. He isn't helped by carrying a winners' penalty today but is a previous course and distance winner which will greatly help his cause today. Politicise was once rated 85 on the flat and while he retains plenty ability and comes here fit and well, has failed to win five previous hurdle races and might prove vulnerable to one or two too strong. One gets the impression Full Of Zandre isn't breezing by too many at Cullentra as he makes his debut, over hurdles, at 2m4f at this tight track and also has a date with the sales on July 29.

ARTHURIAN FAME has strong claims on his fifth hurdles attempt and could take plenty beating. He has won three times on the flat, comes here rated 98 in that sphere following a good run in the Cork Derby recently and also has plenty hurdles experience. His latest hurdles form was a little underwhelming but today's race is a slightly easier task. Santana Plessis is himself no slouch having won his bumper over course and distance last July. He ran a nice enough race on reappearance at Roscommon last month and while he might struggle to beat the selection, should still get involved for the placings. Peres Et Fils showed good form in two bumpers in 2018 and while he was well beaten at Clonmel last March, that was following a 462 days layoff and he could go well today with a tongue-tie now left off. The Tartan Spartan is best watched on his reappearance run following a very long layoff.

It is unusual to see SUPASUNDAE appear at a country track and connections of the triple-Grade 1 winner have found an ideal winning opportunity here. A high class hurdler, his latest run came when finishing 7th in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham and while this is his first ever summer run, today's race conditions suit ideally and he can pick this up en route to the Galway Hurdle. Mengli Khan is a previous Grade 1 winner and while still rated 142 over hurdles, has lost his way in recent times and might struggle to beat the selection. Royale Joana Has is an interesting runner in that she is likely to set the pace, having shown good form when front-running in her native France. She won a Grade 3 chase in April 2019, her fourth win, and while she has shown a tendency to jump right, today's track should suit in that regard but was pulled up on her last start in July 2019 and now runs in a first time tongue-tie. Previous Galway Hurdle winner Tigris River is possibly best watched on his reappearance run, which is also his first start for trainer Aidan Howard. Golden Spear is capable but has been well held from his rating in good handicap hurdles on most recent starts.

TOP OF THE CHARTS was a thoroughly progressive type for connections last year and might be able to win on reappearance here. He won four of his last five starts and while his hurdles mark has now risen to 110, that is 4lb below his chase rating and, being a six-year-old, he could well continue to improve further up the ladder, with today's 3m1f trip on a sound surface sure to suit. Stablemate Aasleagh Dawn completed a hat-trick of win s in 2018 and while she failed to win subsequently, has nonetheless been competing well and should also go well on reappearance today. Golden Nomad hasn't run since January but will be well primed for this and being a dual point-to-point winner, should go well at this trip on handicap hurdle debut with Robbie Power taking the ride at 10st7lbs. Yamato is a triple-flat winner who comes here fit and well and it is mildly interesting to see him run at this trip for the first time. Kilkishen comes here fit and well and has claims as a proven stayer while fellow 10 year old Snugsborough Benny seems better over fences (rated 146 in

JERANDME was taken out of a race at Killarney on Tuesday due to deteriorating ground conditions and might reward connections' patience with a win here. A dual bumper winner, he is a consistent performer and comes here fit and well having run a cracker on the flat at the Curragh last month. He is sure to be well schooled but wouldn't want the ground to become soft. Star Max has a chase rating of 135 and is a dual flat and dual hurdle winner. He steps down markedly in grade for this having competed at a higher level during the winter, has won on good ground in the past but could prove vulnerable to the selection. Demain Des L'aube similarly competed at a high level last year and while his form was a little in-and-out, this race is also a drop in grade. He was a winner at top French venue Autueil in March 2018 and were he to reproduce his Cork form from last October, should get involved on his first run at a tight track today. Happy Jacky was a useful hurdler but might struggle to win this on chase debut. Lever Du Soleil lacks a recent run but is a versatile performer who has two chase runs to his name and could play his part.

Some things don't change even in the 'new normal' and Gigginstown and JP McManus are multiply represented in this valuable handicap chase, as well as trainers Gordon Elliott and Henry de Bromhead. From a smaller yard FREEWHEELIN DYLAN might trump them all, though. Dermot McLoughlin's 8-y-o goes well at this track and this will have been a target for connections for some time. He was last in action at Christmas so the lay-off is a concern, but he landed a nice prize at Punchestown on his penultimate start. Topweight Cap York won the Leinster National at Naas in March and may fare best of the Gigginstown quartet, while Tesseract was touched off in this last year and, off just a pound higher mark, is of interest on his first start for Aidan Howard. Three Musketeers has come down to a nice mark over fences and, with Davy Russell on board, he could be the best of Gordon Elliott's five runners.

GERALDO won a point-to-point for Ellemarie Holden at Stowlin last year before joining Gordon Elliott. It's interesting that Elliott also acquired the runner-up that day, Don Diablo, and he finished second in a bumper at Galway last autumn. Furthermore, Minella Tara, who was in contention when falling at the last in that 'point' has since won a Lingfield bumper for Fergal O'Brien so there is some substance to the form. Goaheadwiththeplan disappointed in a bumper last month, but was in the frame in a couple of big field maiden hurdles during the winter and is now tried in first-time cheekpieces. He is respected, along with Harry Kelly's newcomer Bigly, a half-sister to two winners. Brooklyn Balance is a half-brother to Kim Bailey's Cheltenham winner Imperial Aura and showed a hint of promise last time at Tipperary.
