REWAAYAT returned to winning ways on his comeback run at Lingfield a couple of weeks ago and the son of Pivotal makes plenty of appeal, having been raised just 3lb for that win. Fashionesque is another recent winner who has an obvious chance in what appears to be an open contest. Others to consider are Little Palaver, Soldier's Son and Doc Sportello.
Prediction : 1st Rewaayat 2nd Fashionesque 3rd Soldiers Son

FIRST PROPHET failed to fire when well supported in the Chesham last time but it is far too soon to be writing off the son of New Bay. He had made a winning debut at Newbury and Charlie Fellowes' colt can defy a 7lb penalty with his sights now lowered. Fountain Cross is another proven winner who has to be respected, while Lost In Space is entitled to improve for his recent debut. Masqool is a half-brother to Queen Mary winner Maqaasid and is arguably the pick of the newcomers, although Headshot, Francesco Guardi and Dillydingdillydong merit market inspections.
Prediction : 1st First Prophet 2nd Fountain Cross 3rd Lost In Space

CIRRUS found the Albany at Royal Ascot too challenging when last seen but Richard Hannon's filly had previously hit the crossbar in a maiden at Newmarket. The step up to 7f should help her and she can put her experience to good use. Her main rivals may be the some of the newcomers and in particular Soft Whisper, who is out of a winning half-sister to the four-time Group 2 winner Policy Maker. The shortlist is completed by Little Rollright, Prado and Whiskey 'n' Chips.
Prediction : 1st Cirrus 2nd Soft Whisper 3rd Whiskey n Chips

With Promise's win at Yarmouth last summer sets the standard on all known form, but it would be no surprise to see a couple of the newcomers come to the fore here with the pick of them AMERICAN ENTENTE. John Gosden's War Front filly is a sister to the multiple Group 1 winner Air Force Blue and this distance should be within her range. Roger Varian's Tinker Toy is also by War Front and out of a Group 1 and Royal Ascot winner which gives hope.
Prediction : 1st American Entente 2nd Tinker Toy 3rd With Promise

BAASHIR did well to only be beaten a neck on debut, overcoming a poor draw and a slow start, and Charles Hills' colt rates as the one to beat as he attempts to go one better than that Haydock second. Anjah has shaped nicely on both of his outings so far and gives owner Hamdan Al Maktoum a strong hand in this. Desert Destination is a half-brother to Blue Point and rates as the pick of the newcomers, with Sycamore another interesting debutant.
Prediction : 1st Baashir 2nd Anjah 3rd Desert Destination

MOURIYANI made a winning return at Goodwood over 1m4f last month and, with no doubts about his stamina having scored over this trip and 2m in the past, Tom Ward's charge is backed to follow up despite a 5lb rise. The consistent Monsieur Lambrays was hunted down late on at Pontefract on his return to the track and makes plenty of appeal in a first-time visor, while High Commissioner is interesting stepping up in trip.
Prediction : 1st Mouriyani 2nd Monsieur Lambrays 3rd High Commissioner

Woodhouse was disappointing on handicap debut at Doncaster, though he should have come on for that run and will likely relish this extra couple of furlongs. Queen Of The Sea has displayed potential on two starts and wears cheekpieces now, but Rae Guest has his string in fine form and a chance is taken on ARRIVISTE, who is bred to improve with age and over distances such as this. She beat a good field at Chelmsford in December and an opening handicap mark of 79 seems fair.
Prediction : 1st Arriviste 2nd Woodhouse 3rd Queen Of The Sea

20:15 Salisbury

BAD ATTITUDE relished the drop to this distance when scoring at Chelmsford in March and could be worth sticking with now that the penny has dropped. A 6lb rise doesn't look too harsh for those exertions, and the three-year-old might have more to offer returned to turf. By Jove struck on handicap debut at Windsor when last seen and could take another step forward, while On The Right Track showed more when fourth at Leicester recently.
Prediction : 1st Bad Attitude 2nd By Jove 3rd On The Right Track

20:45 Salisbury

Rudy Lewis lunged late to claim a dead-heat success at Wolverhampton last month but has gone up 4lb returned to turf, while Broad Appeal won on reappearance in 2017 and 2018 and did it again at Windsor 17 days ago. STARFIGHTER has been expensive to follow for Ed Walker, but he has dropped to a tempting mark and has been crying out for this trip. This represents a slight drop in class, and the four-year-old can be given another chance.
Prediction : 1st Starfighter 2nd Rudy Lewis 3rd Broad Appeal
