Shesadabber sprang a 66/1 surprise when touching off the reopposing Pavers Pride in a 5f Hamilton handicap last month, but proved that was no fluke when following up over the same C&D in fine style eight days ago and a further 5lb rise may not be enough to prevent her completing the hat-trick. Slight preference, however, is for STAR CITIZEN, who bids to defy a 4lb penalty for scoring over this track and trip last Monday. Rated 85 in his pomp, Fred Watson's charge seemed rejuvenated by the application of cheekpieces as he ran out an easy winner and he looks capable of going in again judged on that performance.
Prediction : 1st Star Citizen 2nd Shesadabber 3rd Pavers Pride

DODGY BOB was just denied when bidding to defy a 5lb rise for his Hamilton victory over C&D latest, but that was still a fair effort and he could strike again while the iron is hot in this very winnable contest. Northern Queen has leading claims on her close-up third at Beverley last month and her disappointing Redcar effort 10 days later may have come too soon, while Laoise continues to tumble down the weights and showed more when third at Hamilton last time.
Prediction : 1st Dodgy Bob 2nd Northern Queen 3rd Laoise

A sibling to some smart performers, HIGHLY DANCER produced a promising debut effort when chasing home a good winner over this trip at Redcar and should be winning races very soon. That could be today with the benefit of that experience under her belt, although Star Of Emaraaty must be feared now back at a realistic level after taking in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot following an encouraging debut second at Haydock. Mark Johnston continues to fire in the winners and his Party Spirit warrants the utmost respect first time out, especially if the market vibes are positive.
Prediction : 1st Highly Dancer 2nd Star Of Emaraaty 3rd Party Spirit

Carlovian should go well from the front again after making all over 6f at Thirsk (Swinging Eddie seventh), but he only just held on that day and could be vulnerable late on now upped in trip off a 4lb higher mark. GREAT COLACI is clearly in good heart, having followed his Newcastle success with a fine effort in second over this trip at Thirsk last Monday, and, off the same mark today, he has a fine chance to get back on the winning trail. Lagenda completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Great Colaci 2nd Carlovian 3rd Lagenda

A winner at Wolverhampton in February, INDUCTIVE has returned from lockdown with two near-misses over this trip and he was touched off right on the line at Catterick latest. He sports blinkers for the first time and that could be the difference for Michael Dods' charge. Ventura Rascal showed some encouraging signs when making the frame at Doncaster last month and is also considered, along with Cmon Cmon.
Prediction : 1st Inductive 2nd Ventura Rascal 3rd Cmon Cmon

ROYAL COUNTESS made light of a 281-day break when cruising to a facile success in a 1m2f handicap here on her first start for a new yard last Monday. She looked like a different animal that day and is very much the one to beat in this classified stakes if in the same form, with the drop in trip no concern on that evidence. Travel Lightly also arrives on the back of a handicap victory seven days ago, over 1m at Thirsk, and can ask the most questions of the selection along with Joyful Star, who returned to form when runner-up at Musselburgh at the end of last month.
Prediction : 1st Royal Countess 2nd Travel Lightly 3rd Joyful Star

LE REVEUR powered home to register a clear-cut 7f success in a first-time visor (worn again today) at Chepstow on Thursday and can find the improvement needed to defy a 6lb penalty with that effort suggesting the step back up in trip will suit. Celestial Wood was a good third at Wolverhampton on his handicap bow and is heading in the right direction, while Gweedore was a silver medallist off this rating at Musselburgh on Friday, and has to be respected on his quick return to the track.
Prediction : 1st Le Reveur 2nd Celestial Wood 3rd Gweedore

Strict improved for the application of blinkers when almost springing a 25/1 surprise over 1m6f at Thirsk last week and has strong claims on that form. However, he is a tricky customer (hung both ways last time) and is a longstanding maiden, so preference is for LIZZIE LOCH, who boasts C&D-winning form and is entitled to improve for a promising seasonal debut when a neck second in a similar event at Musselburgh. One Last Hug kept on for third over 1m2f here last Monday and could relish this extra yardage.
Prediction : 1st Lizzie Loch 2nd Strict 3rd One Last Hug
