Nurse Florence bumped into a useful pair on her debut at Yarmouth but she did not build on that form when fourth over C&D last time. With that in mind, a chance can be taken with CREEDMOOR, who is a half-sister to a pair of winners in France and her dam won the Cheveley Park. Lothian is another with valid form claims, while Jazzy Socks completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Creedmoor 2nd Nurse Florence 3rd Lothian

ZAMAANI was only narrowly denied by the subsequent Woodcote winner over C&D last month and a reproduction of that performance today would make him very hard to beat. Sidi Mansour has shown a good level of ability in both of his previous starts and Roger Varian's colt may improve for the first-time application of a visor. London Palladium could be vulnerable under his penalty, while Host is entitled to improve for his debut experience.
Prediction : 1st Zamaani 2nd Sidi Mansour 3rd Host

LOUIE DE PALMA made an encouraging return to action when finishing fourth in the Silver Wokingham at Royal Ascot and, off the same mark this afternoon, Clive Cox's veteran is clearly the one they all have to beat. Aljady won at Haydock two starts ago and his placed effort at the same venue a couple of weeks ago also offers plenty of encouragement. Open Wide has yet to show his best this year but he was second in the Stewards' Cup last year off a 1lb higher mark.
Prediction : 1st Louie de Palma 2nd Aljady 3rd Open Wide

Gallipoli proved that his 28/1 success at Redcar two starts ago was not a fluke by making the frame in a valuable contest at Sandown last time. The seven-year-old should be in the mix once again but the marginal preference is for the unexposed NUGGET. The son of Siyouni accounted for a decent field at Doncaster last month and he proved that he remains on a workable mark when only finding one too good at Newmarket a couple of weeks ago. Stanford has proven to a be consistent performer on the all-weather and he has to be of some interest on his turf debut.
Prediction : 1st Nugget 2nd Gallipoli 3rd Stanford

COLONIZE was entitled to need the run at Kempton last time, given the 203-day layoff, but he was not beaten far on that occasion. The son of Empire Maker remains open to plenty of improvement and he should not be underestimated today. State Crown is likely to appreciate this step up in trip on his handicap debut and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Glenties and French Asset.
Prediction : 1st Colonize 2nd State Crown 3rd Glenties

It is hard to oppose FIRST WINTER, who left a slightly disappointing seasonal return behind him when second at Doncaster late last month. First-time cheekpieces should help the son of Dubawi and this appears to be an ideal opportunity for him to get off the mark. Fellow Godolphin representative Back From Dubai took a step forward when third over C&D last month and he is another who is tried in first-time headgear today. Others to consider are Photograph and Kimberley.
Prediction : 1st First Winter 2nd Back From Dubai 3rd Photograph

CASTING VOTE only found the subsequent Musidora second too good on his debut at Haydock last month and the third from that contest was successful on his next outing. With that in mind, Simon and Ed Crisford's gelding should take all the beating today with that experience now under his belt. Propriety cost 1,200,000gns as a yearling and that is no surprise given that she is a daughter of Galileo and a mare who was successful at Group 3 level. Like the selection, Dream Location and Bring Him Home should put their previous race experience to good use.
Prediction : 1st Casting Vote 2nd Propriety 3rd Dream Location

Variyann has won both of his starts since joining this yard but he will have to take a step forward to defy a 7lb rise for a narrow victory at Goodwood last time. In contrast, INVOLVED had plenty in hand when winning at Newbury a month ago and the progressive five-year-old may be underestimated by an 8lb hike in the ratings. Carp Kid may find one or two too good but he could reward each-way support.
Prediction : 1st Involved 2nd Variyann 3rd Carp Kid

This does not appear to be the strongest of contests and the two to focus on are SORAMOND and Tiger Zone, who were only separated by a short head when they fought out the finish of a race at Leicester last month. Soramond came out on top on that occasion and there is every chance that she will confirm that form today, despite a 1lb swing in the weights. Mr Nutherputt has shown some ability in maidens and an opening mark of 65 should be workable for William Knight's gelding.
Prediction : 1st Soramond 2nd Tiger Zone 3rd Mr Nutherputt
