INDIAN SOUNDS has been in a rich vein of form of late and could follow up his recent cosy success over course and distance. A 6lb rise makes life tougher, but the drop back to 5f has seen him thrive and there may well be lots more to come at this distance. Giovanni Tiepolo won nicely at Windsor and is sure to be a factor, while Chepstow scorer Bezzas Lad is lurking dangerously at the foot of the weights.
Prediction : 1st Indian Sounds 2nd Giovanni Tiepolo 3rd Bezzas Lad

THE GOLDEN UNICORN was second best on his debut here last month but bumped into a useful prospect on that occasion. He showed plenty of likeable qualities that day and can go one better here. Bright Armor has taken part in two decent 5f contests so far and this longer trip could be in his favour, while a drop back in distance might see Baton be more competitive.
Prediction : 1st The Golden Unicorn 2nd Bright Armor 3rd Baton

CAPPANANTY CON took advantage of a lenient turf rating when successful over 5f here earlier this month and he can remain competitive following a fair 5lb rise. It would be no surprise to see the six-year-old fighting it out with Doncaster second Gherkin at the finish, with that rival off the same mark as when a beaten favourite at Town Moor. Course-and-distance winner Vincenzo Coccotti has dropped to a figure 1lb lower than his most recent victory and is also noted after a respectable third at Windsor last time.
Prediction : 1st Cappananty Con 2nd Gherkin 3rd Vincenzo Coccotti

Course specialist DELAGATE THIS LORD comfortably accounted for Union Rose (second) here last month and Michael Attwater's six-year-old can make another bold bid following a 5lb rise. Big Lachie was on the scoresheet at Doncaster recently and is another with a smart track record to consider, while Mia Mento wasn't beaten far when fourth at Newmarket on her reappearance and could be dangerous off the same mark.
Prediction : 1st Delagate This Lord 2nd Big Lachie 3rd Mia Mento

Rideson has made the podium on all of her outings so far and went close once again on her turf debut at Windsor last time. Roger Varian's Golden Horn filly sets the standard and is sure to be thereabouts, but there is a chance that Ralph Beckett's SUN TIDE could be a little bit special. The daughter of Siyouni caught the eye when staying on for second on debut at Kempton and the half-sister to Midday could prove hard to beat with that experience under her belt. Magical Dragon outran odds of 33/1 when third over course and distance on his first start and Clive Cox's charge can make the frame again.
Prediction : 1st Sun Tide 2nd Rideson 3rd Magical Dragon

14:35 Bath

The handicapper looked to have caught up with Fivehundredmiles last time out as he failed to build on his prior Chelmsford success off 4lb higher, while Tidal Racer has shown signs of mild promise in three starts and a mark of 59 on handicap debut probably isn't too harsh. DUCHESS OF AVON returned to a bit of form when fifth at Kempton last month, appreciating the drop back to a mile, and this return to turf on a likely decent surface can bring about extra improvement.
Prediction : 1st Duchess Of Avon 2nd Fivehundredmiles 3rd Tidal Racer

Accomplice ended a long losing run in style on the all-weather at Lingfield last month, showing plenty of pace in the final 100 yards to score, and is worth a second glance here off 6lb higher. Her overall record isn't the strongest, though, and perhaps she will prove vulnerable against something like WILLY NILLY. Clive Cox's gelding failed to land a gamble on handicap/seasonal debut at Leicester last month, but he might have just needed that outing and drops back in trip now. Luscifer can take third spot.
Prediction : 1st Willy Nilly 2nd Accomplice 3rd Luscifer

15:40 Bath

TENFOLD only found a Sir Mark Prescott-trained improver too good at Yarmouth last month on handicap debut and could go one better now dropped back in distance. The three-year-old returns to maiden company and won't get too many better chances to get off the mark in a small field lacking quality. Aquascape almost defied 18-1 odds to score at Goodwood four weeks ago when beaten a short-head, while Ridgeway can avoid the wooden spoon, just ahead of Yer Tekkin Mick.
Prediction : 1st Tenfold 2nd Aquascape 3rd Ridgeway

16:10 Bath

DEPOSIT could take all the beating for a stable in decent form. Last of three in a tactically-run race at Yarmouth last month, he should be suited by a stronger pace here and is still unexposed over longer trips. Camouflaged carries a 6lb penalty after scoring at Chepstow five days ago but might not want the ground to dry up too much, while Herodotus also appeals on stable debut for George Boughey.
Prediction : 1st Deposit 2nd Camouflaged 3rd Herodotus
