The youngster left his Royal Ascot disappointment in the past there and was back to the form which saw him push a useful operator close on debut. Nacho was a few lengths further back in fourth in that aforementioned contest and could be an improver, while Mokaman outran his odds of 50/1 when second at Wolverhampton last month and is another to note.

He looks to have leading claims and can fight this out with the talented three-year-old Astrozone. Bryan Smart's charge wasn't beaten far when looking for back-to-back victories since the restart at Beverley last month and remains well treated. Paul Midgley saddles four and it is hard to rule any of them out, although the most likely appear to be Nibras Again and Longroom. Lezardrieux also warrants respect on the back of some useful recent performances.

PLEASURE GARDEN marked himself out as the typical Sir Mark Prescott improver, thriving for a step up in trip, when getting off the mark at Leicester last month. An extra two furlongs can further his progression here and the three-year-old rates as the one to beat. Barely a length separated Feebi (first) and Grimsthorpe Castle (second) when they met over 1m4f here last time and they command plenty of respect. The latter is now tried in first-time cheekpieces and could turn the tables, while Irish Minister was a runner-up on the same card and is also noted.

Brazen Belle probably didn't have much luck when third at Ripon last week after being denied a clear run, but it is hard to say that she would have won without that interference, and perhaps her 4lb penalty will prove against her in this. Tony Hamilton chooses Polastri over Humid for Richard Fahey and both runners require a market check, but BETTER BY FAR holds interesting claims too. She probably would have struck when second at Hamilton last month if charting a straighter course and could make amends this time.

Dramatista has shown plenty of ability in three career starts for Roger Fell and, now under Ben Curtis for the first time, should run another big race. That being said, she can be considered more than a little unfortunate to be coming up against the 98-rated AROHA here. Third in the Albany at Royal Ascot in 2019, Brian Meehan's filly wasn't disgraced in Group 1 company in France last summer and it will be a surprise if she doesn't get off the mark. Newscaster can prove best of the newcomers.

Abel Handy had shaped like a winner in waiting when third at Chelmsford and second at Ripon last month, although he was disappointing at Doncaster 19 days ago and must bounce back now 3lb higher. He should appreciate the switch to a track where he can dominate, but might just be pipped close to home by BOSSIPOP, just as he was at Ripon two starts ago. Tim Easterby's charge is 1lb worse off at the weights compared to then, but has proven before that he can be competitive off similar marks. The unexposed Melody King is also noted.

REBEL SOLDIER BOY has shown a consistent level of form in five outings to date and the application of cheekpieces following his second at Leicester last week could see him get off the mark. Vitare has improved plenty from his sole juvenile outing, placing on all three runs since the resumption of racing, and he can enter the reckoning along with Tagovailoa, who placed at Windsor on his second start, and My Friend Stan.

THE DANCING POET has acquitted himself well on both his starts at Haydock this season and Brian Ellison's gelding remains unexposed on his third attempt over this trip. Deinonychus went up 7lb for his recent Haydock victory and he is entitled to be in the mix once again, while Sea Art, who placed at Musselburgh last week, and George Mallory, who arrives having had wind surgery, complete the shortlist.

CARIBENO stayed on to finish third on his handicap debut at Chepstow last week and the switch of headgear to a visor could make the difference required with Luke Morris back in the saddle. Barney Bullet made a winning return to action at Musselburgh on his first start for Rebecca Menzies and is an obvious threat along with Quoteline Direct, who finished third at Beverley last month.
