EY UP ITS MICK easily followed up on his Haydock success over C&D at the weekend and could seal a quick hat-trick for Tony Coyle. A further 5lb penalty makes life tougher, but the four-year-old appeared to score with plenty in hand on Sunday and this doesn't look a strong race. Recent Thirsk winner Gullane One may put up the most resistance, just ahead of Final Frontier, who ran respectably at Leicester on reappearance last month and has dropped to a tempting mark.

It is interesting that ARROW OF GOLD is pitched in at this level having landed a Redcar maiden on debut and the highly-regarded son of Galileo is backed to take the step up in class in his stride. Old Harbour got off the mark at Beverley a couple of starts ago and he should be capable of making the frame today, while My Macho Man and Ralphy Boy Two complete the shortlist.

In an open race to close the card the marginal preference is for SIR HAVELOCK, after he bounced back to form when finishing second over a mile at Thirsk last month.
