It's interesting to see Oisin Orr on Solene Lilyette ahead of Mere Catherine of the Moyglare Stud Farm and Dermot Weld pair. Mere Catherine has the benefit of experience and has a reasonable rating (72), so there's a chance that newcomer Solene Lilyette could be okay. Neither of them have fared very well with the draw, berthed in stalls eleven and twelve respectively. For a selection those with handicap experience are attractive, and LOVE BRACELET is chosen ahead of St Clerans. The likes of Red Line Alexander and Zofar Zogood are respected, but Love Bracelet could shed her maiden tag at the seventh time of asking. She was short of room a furlong and a half out at Killarney last time when losing out by half a length and the same in third behind Star Of Cashel and Zoom Zoom Babe. An extended nine furlongs looks good for Love Bracelet now.

Globe Theatre has his first start for Joseph O'Brien having run up until now for Ballydoyle. He hasn't appeared since October but needs considering in a first time tongue strap. His draw out in fourteen isn't a plus though. Yenillik finished in front of NAN YEHI when the pair came home second and third respectively behind Winner Takes Itall at Gowran on June 17th. Nan Yehi has a length to make up with Yenillik. However she's fancied to do so on her first outing for Jessica Harrington. Mrs Harrington tries cheekpieces on the daughter of Camelot, and these could help, along with Shane Foley's presence in the plate for the first time. A daughter of the Group One winning racemare, Rebelline, Nan Yehi cost 160,000 Euros as a yearling. It would certainly be important for owner/breeder Frank Fahy and his son Donie of Gerrardstown House Stud, if Nan Yehi could secure a win. Longbourn, Roundel, Beauty Of Deira and Midnight Sunshine are others that need to be taken into account.

SHARP FOCUS got seven pounds for winning at Killarney last week. He's in here under a mandatory six pound penalty. One of the main men in the apprentice ranks, Joey Sheridan, takes the reins, and his five pound allowance makes the claims of John Murphy's charge very attractive, despite his top weight impost. The extra distance the selection has to travel is hardly outside of his capabilities, indeed it could even help, and the Rock Of Gibraltar gelding is clearly on good terms with himself right now. At the other end of the handicap Han Solo is a player. New Vocation, Miracles In May, Mk Drama, Conor Hogan and Overheer will justifiably attract their fair share of support too.

John Murphy and Joey Sheridan have big claims in the preceding race with Sharp Focus, and they could strike here too with CELTIC CROWN. Whilst her stable companion Sharp Focus won at Killarney, Celtic Crown had to make do with a silver medal at the County Kerry course when runner-up behind Haparanda. That Aga Khan and Dermot Weld victor benefited from the addition of cheek-pieces, but Celtic Crown managed to have Joseph O'Brien and Llyod Williams horses, as well as Mrs Harrington and Ballydoyle contenders behind her. Owner Robert Moran lives in the USA but he has Irish parentage and his nursery, Moran Stables, is in West Cork. He formerly owned Patrick Sarsfield and of course that fellow is going from strength to strength recently. Celtic Crown is well below his level but she should be winning herself sooner rather than later. Bestrella and Calidus Mirabilis head the list of dangers.

Up to an extended mile and a half with his 90-rating MONUMENT VALLEY should take a bit of beating. He found subsequent Derby hero Serpentine nine lengths his superior at the Curragh last month, before failing to justify odds-on favouritism at Cork just over a week back. The son of Galileo didn't lose much in defeat when going down to Taramansour then, and he really should be up to opening his account now. Alatar has the benefit of racing in handicap company last time. Albeit that did come in a small field Roscommon heat. There was plenty of money about for Alatar then, when he finished third behind Yulong Pearlisland and Dazzling Darren. It'll be interesting to see how the 81-rated performer fares out on this livelier surface. Desert Highway, Monopoly and Royal Free Hotel are probably place contenders.

There was a market plunge on KALANOURA at Roscommon on June 15th. Jockey Conor Maxwell reported that his mount slipped and got unbalanced rounding the first bend on that occasion. Though the gamble was never going to pay off, Kalanoura signalled hope for the future when keeping on well inside the final furlong before suffering interference close home. She ended up eight and a half lengths off winner, Will Be King, when fifth there, and has since possibly been a little disappointing on slower ground at Navan. There's little doubt that there's races to be won with this Casamento filly, and she looks sure to be there or thereabouts here. The Abbey is dangerous after his Killarney win last week, for a syndicate that includes Racing TV's Gary O'Brien. Maunganui, Tirmizi, Itsalonglongroad, One In All In and Castle Chase are others that can make an impression.

FOR EVERYONE can make a winning return here, despite having not raced since last September. He showed good improvement to win his last two hurdle outings last autumn and while he had previously run well when 6.75L behind Dinard Rose at Limerick in July 2019, he seemed to improve quite a bit on that form subsequently and should win from his current 51 rating. Allora Yeats brings excellent recent form having won her latest two starts, the latest of which saw her beat capable type Swelltime at the Curragh. Her new 58 rating certainly isn't surmountable and she is very much proven over trip and ground. Three year old Dashing Diamond showed improvement when upped in trip at Killarney latest and could get involved in first-time blinkers while Crackaway is capable of improving from a recent reappearance run for new connections.

SHUMAKER reverts to the flat following a successful period over hurdles and can win from his low rating. He initially showed just modest ability before showing improvement in his point to points and while beaten on his last two flat starts in 2019 from the basement 45 rating, did progress dramatically over hurdles afterwards. Today's trip and reasonably easy ground will suit and while he would be a late-comer to flat racing were he to win aged eight, his hurdles form in recent times is difficult to ignore. Jeff Kidder brings good recent form here, having shown improvement to finish second over this trip at Sligo. He gained his handicap mark having raced over shorter trips but could well progress quite a bit now, being a 3yo who clearly stays well. Dream Point's only previous win was gained in a Claimer but ran well at Dundalk eight days ago and has a place chance.
