She had two spins over hurdles in the winter, including when sixth behind Exit Poll in a competitive maiden at Fairyhouse. Flying Risk didn't run her race last time at Limerick but returned with a cut, and is better judged on three placed efforts in the earlier part of the year including when beaten less than a length in third at Wexford. What Wonders Weave won three on the Flat, and was just in front of Champagne Diva (first-time blinkers here) when third at Bellewstown. She can progress again for a stable that's enjoying a good run of form at the moment.

A handicap hurdle winner at Downpatrick a couple of years ago, LUSIS NATUREA has done most of his racing on the level in the interim. He improved a nice bit in that sphere last year, and returns to jumping after keeping on nicely from the rear at the Curragh on Saturday. Ilikehim is another to have upped his game on the Flat recently and was twice runner-up over 12f at Fairyhouse. He starts off in handicap hurdles and could be on a fair mark if adapting to this game. She'stherightone is a regular visitor with three placed efforts at this course and has a good 7lbs claimer aboard, while Gone Racing made a good start in handicap hurdles when fourth to Dawson's Cottage (fancied in the 2.30) and can build on that.

With his hands full as a successful dual-purpose trainer, Denis Hogan doesn't ride too many on the track these days so it's interesting to see him on OLIVER HARDY. This 4-y-o beat Tartlette (now rated 87) off levels at Brighton last year, and he wasn't disgraced under an inexperienced claimer in his first handicap hurdle at Bellewstown. The selection got to a mark in the low 70s on the Flat for Paul Cole, so off a rating of 94 here it's not difficult to envisage a prominent showing. Marino Marvel was runner-up a couple of times in February 2019 but has been off since the following month, while Zinat was a fair third after a lay-off at Killarney earlier this month. Yeat's Encore is a well-bred mare who showed a little more at Kilbeggan and might get competitive in her first handicap.

It's hard to choose between the two recent winners in the line-up, but maybe IMPERIAL CHOICE can follow up a breakthrough win at Tramore last Saturday. She was going well in behind runners from a long way out, and Cathal Landers produced her at the second-last after which she ran on to win well. Similarly patient tactics can be expected over this extra furlong and a half. Kilbeggan winner Dawson's Cottage will be fancied by many to follow up off an 8lbs higher mark and looked to win with a bit in hand. Saol Iontach was second at Punchestown in mid-winter, and would have finished closer but for trouble in running at Downpatrick last time. Majority Share ran well in some strong juvenile maiden hurdles during the winter and is not discounted.

Her full-sister Janeymac won over fences at Tipperary on Sunday, and MIND YOUR STEP was in the process of running a decent race when falling two out at Kilbeggan last time. She gets a speculative vote for Mags Mullins, for whom Janeymac was part of a double on that Tipperary card. In the Kilbeggan event won by Aprils Joy where the selection took a tumble, the free-running The Three Wizards was fifth, a place ahead of Let Her Flow, and the latter might fare the better of those two in first-time cheekpieces having run well in a couple of bumpers last year. Realpolitik ran well at a huge price two starts back, but was pulled up last time, while Imperial Allure jumped poorly on hurdles debut at Downpatrick. Will You Win's mark of 95 looks somewhat dubious, but she did show more last time and wears a first-time tongue-tie.

Obviously a weak contest due to the conditions and PRESENTING DYLAN may be good enough to take a step forward. Pat Kelly's charge caught the eye of the stewards when staying on to finish fourth at Limerick last November and going a bit further now on better ground could help in a much weaker race than he has been competing in in the past. Hardy Man was only beaten just over five lengths when sixth at Roscommon nine days ago and has to be a leading player now in this kind of company. Siberian Star ran a solid enough race when fourth on his return at Kilbeggan recently and is another that has to come into the mix.

HELLO PILGRIM stayed on stoutly to win at Limerick on her return last month and that form has been boosted with the third and fourth winning since. The handicapper stuck the Touch Of Land mare up 8lb for that success and Colin Bowe aims to offset that hike by jocking up promising amateur Jordan Gainford now. Birdie Blitz also comes into this in winning form but her victory came at Fairyhouse back in February on much softer ground. Mary Of De Sorrows ran a big race when second at Downpatrick last week and if those exertions haven't left a mark she could be a big player again here.

Gordon Elliott saddles two here and Jamie Codd take the mount on THE SLIDING ROCK. This looks an easier assignment for her on comeback and the Shantou mare is fancied to get off the mark. She was a promising third in a strong bumper at Punchestown on her debut last December. Her second run at Cork was slightly disappointing but she has shown enough to make her a big player in a summer bumper. Walking Fame ran really well when chasing home Tullybeg at Bellewstown last time and looks an obvious danger. The Elliott-trained newcomer Westcoast Tiger is owned by the yard's head man Simon McGonagle and money for the daughter of Doyen would be interesting.
