The three-year-old is a half-sister to Listed winner Dave Dexter and may have more to offer now on turf. Courtesy may prove best of the newcomers.

High Applause ran no sort of race on debut at Wolverhampton last month but should be wiser for that experience, while Alicestar is a half-sister to plenty of winners but isn't with a yard renowned for having juveniles fully wound up for their first start. SOLDIER LIONS looked to be going best of all for much of the way when finding one too good at Leicester earlier this month, just failing to pick up, but he showed plenty of potential there and has been located a suitable opening today.

INDEPENDENCE DAY built on his promising Thirsk second when finishing third in a deeper contest over this C&D earlier this month and should exploit this mark of 49 sooner rather than later. The step up to 6f suited Chelsea Banham's charge and he should get a strong pace to aim at here. Wild Flower defied a 13-day absence to score at Ripon eight days ago and shouldn't be far away once more, while Bold Decision dropped in class to strike at Bath last weekend and is also worthy of consideration.

PRINCE CASPER took a step in the right direction when beaten by under two lengths into second over 5f at Chelmsford last time and is expected to improve for this additional furlong to go one better. Sparkling Diamond has been raised 4lb for scoring over this trip at Wolverhampton earlier in the month but can fight it out with C&D winner Herringswell, who ran well over 7f here last time, for the silver medal.
