CROWN PRINCESS built on her debut third over track and trip when running out a comfortable victor at Catterick last time. Ollie Pears' youngster was strong at the finish when beating some useful operators on that occasion and could take plenty of beating once again. Disco Beats disappointed in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury on Sunday, but this represents an easier test and he was a winner at Musselburgh on his penultimate outing. Silent Queen was only beaten a neck at Ripon on debut and is also taken seriously, shaping like a real prospect in that contest.
Prediction : 1st Crown Princess 2nd Disco Beats 3rd Silent Queen

NIBRAS AGAIN was only beaten a neck off this mark when sent off favourite at Bath last week and has a chance to quickly gain compensation for handler Paul Midgley, who won this in 2017. He rates the pick of the trainer's trio, with stablemates James Watt and Buniann respected following some encouraging performances since the restart, while Balancing Act and Lezardrieux are others arriving in decent form.
Prediction : 1st Nibras Again 2nd James Watt 3rd Lezardrieux

PARTY SPIRIT made a promising start when only denied by a neck at Ayr on debut and Mark Johnston's youngster could be the answer here. The Night Of Thunder filly bumped into a rival who had already had a taste of Group 2 company on that occasion and lost little in defeat when carried right at a crucial stage. Dromquinna was sent off favourite when second at Chepstow last time and is considered, while Locket could improve for a step up in trip following two respectable efforts over 6f so far. Godolphin's Secret To Success could be the pick of the newcomers engaged.
Prediction : 1st Party Spirit 2nd Dromquinna 3rd Locket

MAJALAAT is due to go up 3lb shortly so it is no great surprise to see him turned out here after outrunning 50-1 odds to finish third at Leicester four weeks ago. The form of that race has since been franked by both the winner and runner-up, and the selection is surely fairly treated off 75 now trying this trip on grass for the first time. Kentuckyconnection was second here last week and is due to go up 2lb, while course specialists Keepup Kevin and Twin Appeal are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Majalaat 2nd Kentuckyconnection 3rd Keepup Kevin

LE CHIFFRE looked well treated when striking on his handicap debut here last month and followed that up three weeks ago with a facile Hamilton success. A further 7lb rise makes life tougher for David O'Meara's charge, but he will enjoy the stiff finish here once more and has a handy low draw. Bottom Bay has displayed potential the last twice at Newcastle and Windsor but might want more of a stamina test, while Oasis Prince has dropped to a tempting mark and would appeal if the rain stayed away.
Prediction : 1st Le Chiffre 2nd Bottom Bay 3rd Oasis Prince

GLOBAL EXCEED has looked on good terms with himself in three starts so far this season after losing his way in 2019 and could take some stopping under Gemma Tutty. The five-year-old was a 28-1 winner at Redcar before a solid fourth at Hamilton just over a fortnight later, and appeals most in a weak race. Contrast was progressing nicely last season and looked to just need his reappearance when fifth here last month, while Glaceon may prove best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Global Exceed 2nd Contrast 3rd Glaceon

BURGUILLOS bolted up by nine lengths over 1m at Leicester last week and if he returns in the same mood, over a trip he's won at in the past, he could make light work of a 4lb penalty to follow up. Broctune Red has been knocking on the door of late and is expected to remain competitive, despite being put up 4lb recently, while Majestic Stone went close off this mark at Pontefract on his penultimate outing and could also figure.
Prediction : 1st Burguillos 2nd Broctune Red 3rd Majestic Stone

16:10 Beverley

BY JOVE has landed back-to-back 1m2f victories on fast ground at Windsor and Salisbury and, raised 4lb for the latest of them, he could feasibly land a hat-trick, now up in trip with Cieren Fallon negating most of the rise with his 3lb claim. Kitten's Dream was beaten by less than a length over 1m2f here last time and is another for whom this stiffer test could unlock improvement. Handicap debutant Luck On Sunday is also noted.
Prediction : 1st By Jove 2nd Kittens Dream 3rd Luck On Sunday

STONIFIC had two lengths in hand when scoring over C&D last week and could shake off a penalty to follow up for David O'Meara. Nakeeta is well treated on his best form and hinted at a revival when fourth at Hamilton last time. He's never won over this far but has a number of solid placed efforts to his name over 2m. The pick of the remainder may be Graceful Lady, who is rated only 1lb higher than when winning at Newmarket last summer.
Prediction : 1st Stonific 2nd Graceful Lady 3rd Nakeeta
