His rating of 97 over fences makes him an attractive proposition in this two mile contest and with champion jockey Paul Townend in the saddle, he should prove hard to beat. Roachdale House ran a fine race to finish second at Roscommon on his most recent start and he should give a good account of himself here. He looked set to score at western venue when hitting the front from the last, but couldn't hold off the late surge of Stamp Your Feet. Arch Melody won twice at Wexford last summer and has definite claims on his return to action, while others to keep on side here are Alice Johnston and course and distance winner Bridge Native.

WAITNSEE ran a fine race on her debut over fences at Killarney recently and with race fitness on her side, she can be expected to go close here. A winner over flights at Ballinrobe last year, the daughter of Arctic Cosmos finished third on her first try over the larger obstacles at Killarney. Dime A Dozen finished three and a half lengths in front of the selection at the Co Kerry venue and she since gave the form a boost by winning easily at Tipperary last Sunday. Andalusa is the sole Willie Mullins trained representative on the card and it would come as little surprise if she were to prevail on her debut over fences. The daughter of Martaline has some smart form to her name and made the breakthrough on her most recent start at Clonmel in March. Ran Rite has been knocking on the door of late and has definite claims, while others for the shortlist are Boro Tari and Whenurgoodurgood.

Three-time course winner BELLGROVE might be able to cause a bit of an upset here. The Pat Croke trained gelding managed to win this race twelve months ago, while he was also successful at the seaside venue in April. That April victory came after a break and he returns to action now for the first time since October. Give Him Time and My Oakclahome are two of the more obvious contenders. The former was an easy winner over flights at Downpatrick recently and it'll come as little surprise if he manages to follow-up here off a mark of just 91. My Oakclahome went down fighting over the course and distance last Saturday and another bold bid can be expected from the David O'Brien trained seven-year-old. Point-to-point winner Crimson Chief is another with solid claims in this two-mile five-furlong contest.

Escort'namix failed to capitalise on what appeared a straightforward opportunity here a week ago, going down by six and a half lengths to Moll Dote. Sent off an odds-on favourite on that occasion, the daughter of Al Namix has the chance to redeem herself now, dropping in trip to two miles. The 100 rated bay is tried with a tongue-strap for the first time now and it'll come as no surprise if she manages to get her head in front with Sean O'Keeffe taking five pounds off. For a selection I'll side with the Henry de Bromhead trained SANI PASS. Second in a point-to-point when trained by Michael Flannery, she finished sixth on her debut for current connections at Bellewstown earlier this month and there should be plenty more to come from the daughter of Robin Des Pres. Memories Remain has some solid form to her name and it'll be disappointing if she's not involved towards the business end here, while the Declan Queally trained Dinny's Ginny and The Girl That Sang for Edward O'Grady are others to keep on side.

I'll take a chance here on handicap debutant NODOUBTABOUTTHAT. Trained by a shrewd young handler in Shane Crawley, the daughter of Oscar has three runs to her name thus far. She didn't show much in any of those starts, but they were in good quality contests that have produced plenty of winners since. Given a mark of just 88, it'll be disappointing if the five-year-old bay fails to make an impact in a contest which is devoid of any real quality. Boro Melody has performed with credit on his last two starts and has definite claims here for local trainer Vincent Halley. The Gordon Elliott trained Maria Francesca warrants respect, while top-weight Caddy Shack, who won at Wexford last October, is another for the shortlist. Gone Racing wasn't beaten far on his most recent start at Kilbeggan and it'll be interesting to see how he fares.

Well-named, the big chestnut got a 6lb rise for beating Pat Coyne (in opposition again) by a length. The selection is inclined to race with his head high. However, with a win now under his belt he's likely to keep learning with experience. He's taken to confirm form with Pat Coyne on four pound worse terms. Knock On Steel definitely has a chance here off 104 after winning a Killarney beginners chase last time. Given his connections Soloheadbeg will justifiably attract some attention for his handicap debut with first time cheekpieces on.
