ITS A GIVEN made a successful start to her career at Chelmsford back in November and followed up on her return to the fray, landing the odds at Kempton. She appears a pretty decent sprinter so an initial mark of 82 should be well within range. Breath Of Joy proved her 33/1 Haydock success was no fluke when almost going in again at Chelmsford. She heads a list of dangers that also includes four-time C&D winner Ice Age.

BROUGHTONS GOLD displayed considerable promise as a two-year-old and took advantage of a lenient initial figure when triumphant on his handicap bow at Newbury on his comeback. Roman Melody has been threatening to break through, not least when runner-up at Kempton last time, while Kodiellen didn't enjoy the smoothest of passages when fourth over C&D off this rating. Better is anticipated from Adonis Blue now he steps out of novice company, but the booking of Ryan Moore for fellow handicap newcomer ZENAIDA catches the eye, and Ed Dunlop's filly shaped like this trip would suit when fourth on her Haydock reappearance.

Last-start scorers C'Est No Mour and Golden Wolf enter the reckoning, as do Buriram and Burano Boy.

Thunder King was collared in the dying strides over 1m4f at Ripon, so the slight cut back in trip is in his favour. Telekinetic and Cinnabar have to be considered closely as well.
