ISAAC WONDER may well have won in this sphere at Ffos Las last May but for falling two out and he has done well over fences and on the Flat since, twice hitting the target over the larger obstacles. Confidence will be high on his hurdling return and he looks like the one they all have to beat. Away At Dawn made a pleasing Rules debut when third in a Musselburgh bumper in February and warrants respect now going jumping, while Lady Reset could improve on her Stratford fourth now fitted with a tongue-tie.
Prediction : 1st Isaac Wonder 2nd Away At Dawn 3rd Lady Reset

Empty Quarter has shaped with plenty of promise in three bumper outings and must enter calculations on his hurdling bow, while Magic Shuffle's recent Flat form suggests that he can better his Chepstow seventh in October. Chestnut Pete and Grey Spirit are others to watch out for, but a chance is taken on NH debutant VEXED. He posted a number of solid performances on the Flat when with David Simcock and should go close if jumping with fluency on his first start for Oliver Greenall.
Prediction : 1st Vexed 2nd Empty Quarter 3rd Magic Shuffle

Lantiern is entitled to strip fitter for his comeback third at Stratford and must be considered off a 2lb lower mark, but chasing newcomer WHISKEY AND WATER could prove tough to beat receiving the weight-for-age allowance. Brian Ellison's consistent gelding arrives on the back of a cracking placed effort over hurdles at Uttoxeter and, if taking to the larger obstacles, he seems sure to go close off his light weight. Pull Green has undergone wind surgery since his latest start and cannot be ruled out either.
Prediction : 1st Whiskey And Water 2nd Lantiern 3rd Pull Green

MABELA shaped on her return when fourth at Market Rasen earlier in the month as though she would benefit from the outing and Dan Skelton's mare is only 1lb higher than her last winning mark. Dariya could improve for wind surgery following her return to hurdles at Uttoxeter last time, while others to note include handicap debutant Absolute Jaffa and Floral Bouquet.
Prediction : 1st Mabela 2nd Dariya 3rd Absolute Jaffa

CAGE OF FEAR appeared to be a work in progress on his two hurdle outings last autumn, placing on both occasions, and the six-year-old is open to improvement stepping up in trip on handicap debut. Order Of Thistle will likely be more competitive dropped in grade having found a Pertemps Qualifier too much to handle at Musselburgh in February, while Ahead of The Curve is an interesting recruit for Ian Williams having shown signs of a return to form when last seen at Kelso in December.
Prediction : 1st Cage Of Fear 2nd Order Of Thistle 3rd Ahead of The Curve

BANDSMAN ran a fine race to finish second in the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter, when having Padleyourowncanoe back in fourth, and the drop to 3m is more likely to be in the former's favour despite being 2lb worse off. Soupy Soups is 1lb higher than his second in the Badger Ales at Wincanton last November and has had a pipe-opener over hurdles at Southwell, while Potterman is clearly a lot better than his return in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen suggests.
Prediction : 1st Bandsman 2nd Padleyourowncanoe 3rd Soupy Soups

FOR PLEASURE, who was fit from a few outings on the Flat when an encouraging third at Market Rasen earlier this month, romped to an emphatic 22-length success at Stratford last week and Alex Hales' in-form five-year-old is incredibly hard to oppose under a 7lb penalty here. Roar has done well on the level of late and is interesting switched to timber, while Chantecler hasn't been seen in this sphere for a long time, but is hard to dismiss representing Nicky Henderson.
Prediction : 1st For Pleasure 2nd Roar 3rd Chantecler

WISECRACKER could be the answer if turned out quickly following his silver medal at Market Rasen on Monday and Ben Case's thriving seven-year-old has now rattled the crossbar on both outings since the restart. The step up in trip could be the key to finding a deserved victory and he can see off Damut I'm Out, who is a course-and-distance winner and was a useful fourth here earlier this month. Armattiekan was disappointing on his reappearance, but has a fine track record over hurdles and is still at the early stages of his fences career.
Prediction : 1st Wisecracker 2nd Damut Im Out 3rd Armattiekan

MISSTREE SONG failed to fire in a Listed bumper when last seen at Market Rasen in January but she had shown ability prior to that and can be given another chance today. Heavy ground may have been against Lady Bowes on her most recent outing but she hit the crossbar at Carlisle two starts ago and could make the frame. Emmarelli is out of a mare who won the Summer Cup in 2012 and any market support for her would have to be noted.
Prediction : 1st Misstree Song 2nd Lady Bowes 3rd Emmarelli
